My mum knows and she was trying to talk me out of it, saying I do not need it and that it can ruin my as she called it 'perfect life' but I still went for it however she didnt know my surgery date as I didnt want her to worry. My dad died nearly five years [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] No one else in my family knows about my BA.

She is happy that I am happy and I think she was scared I wouldnt wake up after GA or something.I have to say this is one of the reasons why I was scared to go for it but finally decided to do it after quite a few years of being constantly upset.

I hope your parents will get over it and support you in your decision hun x

Aww that's really lovely to hear. I'm surprised she never asked you the date.. But I guess that wasn't what was on her mind at the time.
My mum and dad have both openly spoken about it on the phone to me. I think it was a shock that I was sat there say my surgery was booked! But they're both supporting me in my decision which is nice :) xx
