Arnica ?!
My surgeon has said to take arnica 30 , he has said three days before but I'm sure I saw somewhere ladies taking it 5 days before ? Am I right in thinking it has to be taken every few hours ?

Re: Arnica ?!
I'm not sure about arnica as didn't take it myself , if your surgeon has advised you take it I would give them a quick call to clarify how much & for how long, as what's advised by one surgeon may not be the same as another. XXX

Re: Arnica ?!
I would definitely contact your surgeon and what they they would recommend.
Personally I was told to take it as per the instructions on the bottle, which off the top of my head is about 4 times a day for the first 5 days *none of surgery day* then I think it's once a day after that

I was to.d to take it for 7 days before the operation 3 x per day then 7 days after. Contact your surgeon to double check

Re: Arnica ?!
Your surgeon would have tailored everything to you, so just follow surgeons advice. Pre op and post op. Then you can be sure you are doing everything right. I took it for 2 weeks before but was allergic to it. Xxx

Re: Arnica ?!
I took Arnica for a week before the op, none on the day, then a week after (3 times a day). Apart from my nipples I had hardly any swelling and no bruising at all. X

Re: Arnica ?!
Looked in my pre op booklet and it says take it 3 days before the op .
On the nelsons pack thought it says take every two hours for the first six doses !? So 8am 10am 12pm 2pm 4pm 6pm ? And then .... Not sure if I am reading this right lol

Re: Arnica ?!
In what way? I would take according to the instructions on the dispenser and for the number of days your clinic recommends. It's homeopathic so don't worry too much if you've done slightly different, just correct the dosing now!

Re: Arnica ?!
Just continue to take as instructed, don't double up to account for missed doses.
