Double bubble with overs
Hi Ladies
was just wondering if you can get double bubble with overs? I'm just trying to narrow down my list of things to worry about and obsess over

Re: Double bubble with overs
Hi dling, ive had overs and I was looking at this on the net the other day.
I googled it and lots of surgeons had answered this question, they seemed to think that it happens more in understand because of the muscle pushing down on the implant.
Im sure f you Google it you will find it. Im not saying it wont happen, just that that is what I read :)

Re: Double bubble with overs
It's when you get a line or crease on your boob where the implant and natural boob aren't merging. I think it often happens if your breast crease is lowered to make room for the implant.
I think the best way I've heard it described is, instead of the boob looking like a capital D it's more like a capital B.

Re: Double bubble with overs
Its where the bottom of the implant drops out of the pocket, so the underneath of your boob has 2 bumps, instead of one smooth line to your crease x

Re: Double bubble with overs
Double bubble is different to bottoming out. Bottoming out is where it falls beneath the pocket. Double Bubble is " if the surgeon accidentally releases the breast crease leaving the implant sat in the breast fold, or if you need an uplift and instead of doing this the surgeon simply fills the breast with a large implant, the skin can then sometimes sag over the implant again giving a double bubble appearance, the implant stays being held high and again the skin forms over that. " Quote taken from the lovely Cookie from this thread here. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
So as per that thread...you're at risk, regardless of placement.
