Three Little Questions
Hi everybody,
I have a consultation booked for 15 November. I'm wondering the approximate length of time between the consultation and surgery. I'm going with Transform and the surgeon is Mr. Mahadev.
Also, my mum would like to accompany me on the day. Can she travel with me in patient transport and stay at the hospital with me? Does anybody know the approximate cost of patient transport?
Thanks!

Re: Three Little Questions
Hi Hun,
the length between your consultation and surgery totally depends on you . ie when you want to have it and when you can get booked in.. you dont have to have your surgery straight away so dont be pushed into anything.
As far as im aware with tranform, NO unfortunatley your mam wont be able to travel with you in the paitent transport i dont think , my friends mam wasnt aloud.
really dont know the cost of the transport either, some other girls on here might be able to help you with that.
- couldnt help but notice your from newcastle , im from Sunderland not that far away :)

Re: Three Little Questions
Hi! Sorry it's taken me ages to reply! I'm at Pines Hospital in Manchester, having just had my operation - so thrilled about it. Turned out I was booked in only 8 days after my consultation, and it cost me £150 for transport and you were right, mum not able to go with me! But travel was fab, have a wonderful driver :)
It's getting closer to your date too, you must be getting excited :)
Yeah, I live closer to Gateshead but work in Newcastle :)
Thanks!
Kimberly.

Re: Three Little Questions
Hi everyone,
Everything went really well, I'd expected a rough night but it wasn't bad at all! Recovery is going smoothly too but finding myself a bit bored not being able to be that active though hehe
I'm thrilled with them, there just aren't words to describe how I feel!
Thanks for the messages and good luck ambzdee94!

Re: Three Little Questions
Awwww that's great news Kimberly. Sounds like you're doing well and fab to read how much you like your new additions.
It won't be long (a couple of days) before you're able to get out of the house if you feel up to it and get some fresh air going out on gentle walks building your strength back up.
Maybe watch some box sets on sky or your lappy/comp/tablet to fill the boredom gap too. Or chat to us - we'll cure your boredom lol. Xx
