clothes for after BA
Is there a type of clothing anyone would recommend for after BA. I know I have a few weeks before my BA but just want to get myself organised. Xx

Re: clothes for after BA
For the journey home I took vest tops I could step into and I wore shorts, shorts were a mistake as had to wear compression socks, looked a dork :)
Today I've been mooching in loose trousers as tummy is still bloated and vest tops again x

That made me laugh, socks and shorts but the books look great, haha. Thanks I live in vest tops anyway I only buy the cheap one from primark( love them because of the adjustable straps). What bra are you wearing in you pic, it looks really nice. Xx

Buttons, zips, and anything you can step into and pull up. Its going to be hard to raise your arms the first week or so, so tricky to get anything over your head. I pretty much just lived in shorts and bra for a week, with a nightshirt from Primark if I got chilly. Anything comfy basically

Charlii I thought of you yesterday in Primark (I was getting a white robe for the hospital) as they have some cool superhero stuff right now.
I got some batman pants!
Hi Dolly, I am thinking I will take a long maxi dress that has no straps and is elasticated at the top to wear when leaving the hospital and some flip flops and a big cardi if it's chilly (who knows with the weather we've had the last few days!!). My bf is coming to pick me up (I'm staying overnight) so he can help me get dressed!
xx

Thank you, think I will do that. I am staying overnight but they are bringing me home, is getting dressed going to be a problem for me, hopefully one of the nurses will help, I'll take something easy. Xx

As others have said anything you can step into will be fine. Something like leggings, vest top & a cardi , your maxi dress would be ok too with flip flops but you will need that cardi or other kind of top to be able to hide the sports bra. XXX

Haha, batpants are the way forward! Wish I could go look but still housebound at the mo, boo.
Stretchy maxi dresses are a great call, just step I'm and pull up. If you've no one with you, the nurses will def help. I had a great experience with THG, they were so helpful and lovely.

Hi DollyDoo, it's an Asda post surgery support bra, as suggested by my surgeon. All the surgeon seem to have their recommendations and this was mine. You can only order them online. It is comfortable and feels supportive.

I'm currently living in my vest tops and comfy trousers or PJ bottoms.. that's pretty much it... as long as you are comfortable and can get to the toilet and in and out of it yourself its fine :D
