When can I buy new clothes?
Hi girls,
I can't wait to go on a shopping spree once I've got my new boobies. I'm wondering when it will be safe to buy new clothes? I mean, when will my boobs 'settle' to the size that they're actually going to stay? I don't want to buy tops that are snug and then my boobs go down and the tops are too big !
Thanks xxx

Re: When can I buy new clothes?
Just take things as you go hun... if you feel up to going shopping a week post-op then go!.. if not, just wait until you feel able. It wont make any difference if you've dropped or not, your tops will still fit as you'll need to ensure they have a bit of give in them and you'll be wearing a sportsbra which will reign 'em in a bit, but when the bad boys get released the tops still fit but just look better.
One thing to consider though. buying tops to cover sprtsbras is a trial all on its own LOL and you probably won't wear these tops when you are in your normal bras (generally 6 weeks post-op)... I know I didn't xx

Re: When can I buy new clothes?
Yup agree with Cookie - Most of my tops still fit me, they just look a whole lot better now :D I only had to part with a couple of snug-fitting shirts that had no give in them.

Re: When can I buy new clothes?
im going to a wedding tommorow and got a gorgeous dress from monsoon to wear that would easily cover a sports bra.
I never found sports bras hard to cover as ive never really been a low cut top kind of girl anyway.
I did find the strapping hard to cover at first though

Re: When can I buy new clothes?
I've lived in t shirts and I wear loads of vest tops mainly which are a nightmare when trying to conceal the sport bra straps but now the weathers turning a bit cold the jumpers and cardis will be coming out so will be loads easier. I am off work at the moment on mat leave so its been easy to wear dossing clothes and as I've got a baby no-one noticed the unbrushed hair for the first couple of days either lol xx

Thank you girls, I'm hoping that I will feel OK to go shopping 1week post op, and that it won't be too uncomfortable trying stuff on! xx
