Re: overs and unders
I thought id update you girls here, I asked the surgeon I consulted with if I could be taken first and he said NO, all I said was to begin I am a panicky nervous type could I be first in theatre, before I cld explain my low blood sugar, he seemed annoyed that I asked and said u come wait maybe 2-3 hrs before and anaesthetist will sedate you. Didn't feel good about this lol. He made me feel too nervous after this. Also when I asked about things he kept going over me and said 'don't come here and tell the surgeon what to do its our job!' I did feel all ur advice helped me come out my shell. So onto the next surgeon :) thanks for ur help girls x

Re: overs and unders
First place on the theatre list is usually reserved for people with blood disorders etc, but theres no harm in asking. It sounds like this guy was very brash with you. You're right to ask as many questions as you feel necessary, never let them dictate to you as its your body, not their plaything. If you didn't gel, and he made you feel nervous, on to the next one!

Next! Just be thankful that he revealed this attitude now and not further down the line. The right surgeon is out there for you just keep looking. He sounds like a right bleep - you should be able to ask as many questions as you like

Re: overs and unders
You have to feel safe and happy with your surgeon. It's scary enough without.
I'd try wording it differently... I have a fast metabolism and due to this etc etc what will u do to accommodate me??
Or something similar x

It is rather lush isn't it lol.... It was a gift from my hubby at Christmas. It cost a bloody fortune for a bra then but I've just found it on sale now for you on this website HERE

Unfortunately lovely you're going to find that all surgeons will give you the same response unless there's no emergency a on the day, or women with allergies or other health conditions that require them to take priority.

Many women are nervous about the day of surgery Lou. You will find though that the staff on the day will be very good with you. They're used to nervous patients and will do all they can to help keep you calm, including the possibility if a light sedative to help calm you down if you feel you need it.

Awwww, you tend to get a gut feeling about the surgeon who you feel is the right one for 'you' and obviously this guy wasn't right for you lovely....l keep GOUNG with the research and consultations and you'll be sure to find 'the one' xxx
