1 week check today

It went really well, had yet another lovely nurse, everyone at that place is so nice and really helpful. Healing really well, she gave me some special stuff to put on my scars once the glue comes off, apparently it's better than bio oil. I had my binder (aka evil corset) taken off and also the strap came off, omg I'm like brand new I tell ya! 

I am allowed to shower my boobies! Am going to savour that shower before I get into bed tonight!

Have to wear the bras they gave me for 6 weeks which is fine as they are so comfy and supportive, I took my Macom and asked if it would be ok to wear my 2 Macoms when I'm going out as the straps are like normal straps compared to the ones they gave me which are bulky. The nurse loved the Macom bra said she'd wear a bra like that! and wrote down the website! She helped me into it and adjusted the straps properly Bcoz I was going to homebase straight after to get paint and I had a maxi dress on with big straps from their bra showing lol I've changed back into there bra since coming home I'll save the Macoms when I'm going out. She asked how much they were and said they were well made pretty post surgical bras. She said the ones they supplied me were £89 each! They gave me 2.

Anyway I'm rambling, love my boobs, there still a bit swollen in upper pole but look great and are settling nicely.

What was the stuff they gave you for your scars?  My nurse loved my Macom too, she said she prefers to see post BA girls in them rather than sports bras as they squash your boobs too much. . Did you enjoy your shower? My first shower was amazing and loved every second of it.

Thank you my lovely. It's called Kelo-cote it says it's advanced scar gel. She said to use it once the glue comes off which in my case looks like about another 7 days, apparently you only need a teeny bit on each scar.  Ohhh my shower was the most heavenly thing! Felt sooooo good, I feel squeaky clean ahhhh :) x

Lucky you being given that, that's quite expensive but looks really good. Might have to give it a go as I don't really like bio oil very much. 

Isn't it such a wonderful feeling to have that first shower and finally feel clean again. Xx

Thanks newby, I was supposed to go tomorrow too but had to swap it for today as my hubby had some work thing he couldn't wriggle out of. Result for me coz the binder came of a day early. Good luck for tomorrow let us know how it goes :) x

Thanks Sahara, I can't fault any part of the service I have received it's been wonderful! I paid £4300 which I think is a really good price, I don't know how it compares tho!? X

I had the scar cream given to me by my surgeon but I never used it and my scars are greatm cant really see them xx
