I had my stitches out today and she put new dressings on as she said it was bleeding a little is my avi normal has this happened to anyone else seems more than a little blood

Hi,
I haven't had a lift ,hopefully someone who has will be along to advise you shortly.
I would imagine though as long as it hasn't continued to bleed and dressings aren't soaking with blood that it should be ok.you could maybe email your avi pic to clinic/ surgeon and see what they say. XXX

As long as it has now stopped bleeding you'll be fine. Your dressings going to need to be changed tho.
She might have pulled the skin/incision when she removed the stitches.

Try not to worry and when's your next app??

As you said think I'm more worried over getting infected by leaving dressing and was a shock as it's first time ever seen dressings like this even after my op there was no blood on dressings thanks for your answers girls

I personally would leave and call them on Monday if not wait till your appointment Tuesday.
Ask if they feel u might need antibiotics x

O I won't be touching dressing Hun to scared of it hurting no I'm just gona give nurse a quick ring after 9 see what she says I little bit gutted as I've been healing so well was gona be allowed to shower from Tuesday this will prob put that back a bit these shallow baths are so not easy lol how are you now Sahara I love your avi cute little kitten have you had date for your op yet.

Aww bless ya ye I have 5 my eldest is 13 and my youngest is 4 I felt bit broody b4 but i prob would have had another baby or tried but chose to have ba as that will put me off any more baby's as paid so much for it wouldn't want to ruin it :)

Oh!!! Poor man.

I've kind of accepted that i might end up being a grand ma  Hysterical  What a strange feeling.

I had my eldest at 19 so if he does the same I'll be 38!!
