Re: Considering not going ahead
what you have heard is def true, but it depends on how much you loose afterwards, have you discussed it with the surgeon, how much are you still wanting to loose, you have 2 month, get down to some fitness classes 8 weeks is a great time xx

Re: Considering not going ahead
hi i work in a gym and you need to healthy eat and excercise im afraid if you want to loose a bit of weight
Ive seen amazing results in 6 weeks but please rmember to measure yourself as muscle weighs more than fat so even though ur loosing weigh if your gaining muscle then you sometimes feel like you arent loosing anything cause of the weight of the muscle xx

Re: Considering not going ahead
Hey honey I've lost 11lb since my consultation in January, I want to lose another 4lb but no more, and I'm bearing I. Mind implants weigh 1-2lbs (I think) so it's definitely doable to lose a stone, I've been running and doing lots of sit ups, drinking lots if water, and eating healthily, also stopped drinking last 3 weeks as I can't now anyway due to BA in 8 days , I did have a baby in October so some of this was baby weight but I now weigh less than before I had my baby, if I can do it you can!! What better goal to reach for than new boobies!! xxx

Re: Considering not going ahead
BMI scales aren't the best though, because they don't take muscle mass or whats healthy for you into consideration. Throughout my late teens/early twenties, I was clinically underweight, but I was perfectly healthy.
I think what you need to look at here is not how much weight you can lose now, but whether you can sustain it afterwards. That's where the flux is going to come in and affect your boobs. You are young, and your body may not yet have settled into its natural shape and could keep changing for a number of years yet.

Re: Considering not going ahead
I really wouldn't put such a huge amount of pressure upon yourself to achieve any 'quick fixes' babe.... If you feel you need more time then maybe consider postponing for a while until you feel ready in body and mind.
There's no need to cancel gorgeous, just take everything into consideration and do what you feel is right 'for you'. If keeping your date is what you want then great, but putting huge amounts of pressure upon yourself now lovely really isn't healthy at all. Xx

I think that's the most sensible Amb and we're all here to support you through.
Maybe make yourself a food diary thread in the health section? Listing all the foods you eat can often give a great insight to possible problems in weight loss/gain, or it can help kick start your mind into a new way of thinking about food leading to you not having to think about it anymore, the healthier foods will just become second nature for you.
Just a suggestion hun, but you know we're here for ya anyway
Re: Considering not going ahead
I will give you my experience, I booked last minute, crash diets three weeks before and lost 9lbs. I lowered my immune system and caught flu the week before luckily with plenty of rest my ba went ahead. Day of my surgery my ps took one look and this no no no this will not do at all, where has your lovely breast tissue gone silly silly (German lady lol). Said to me that losing weight pre op will still reduce your tissue in your breasts just the same as after and will make you ripple just as likely. I was told to put on weight which wasn't hard over Xmas and resting post op lol. Anyway - best to tone up and get active no crash diets!x

Obv I want the best for my body and for my BA as it's a lot of money ... Gonnah see how I do for 2 months (no crash diets, can't stick at them anyway) just healthy eating and exercise see if I feel any better in myself , I will go ahead ..
