Re: post op...How long before
Hi, babe! It's different for every girl because it depends how fast you heal both externally and internally. Generally I'd say when you hit the 4 week mark you can start sleeping normally again. This was the case for me.. Until 4 weeks I was still sleeping with 4/5 pillows and then after that I gradually lowered myself and then at 5 weeks I slept on my side. Some girls start sleeping on their side much sooner than that though!
I still sleep with 3 pillows now just because I'm used to being higher. Don't worry, babe, your comfortable sleeping will happen eventually!!
I hope you're well xxx

Re: post op...How long before
You're body will naturally decide for you. You're PS/Nurse will advise how long to sleep 'upright' for, then after that, you're body is going to do what it feels comfortable doing. I had to back sleep elevated for 2 weeks, then I was allowed to side sleep, but it was another 2-3 weeks before my body allowed me to. Yeh it means a lot of restless nights...but at least you'll have fabulous boobs at the end of it!

Re: post op...How long before
My surgeon said 2 weeks on back elevated.
I'm having a hard time accepting the size of my implants and this sleeping is starting to hurt my back.
I love my sleep.

Re: post op...How long before
I was told 2 weeks elevated but like Kati- I often find myself half way turned to the side too.
Using 6 pillows still- biggest under the knees, one under low back, 2 piled up under head/shoulders and topped with V pillow and cushion under each arm. Quite comfy actually and the best thing is you never wake up with wrinkles on your face
Since I hit 29- my nose mouth lines had become engraved (had them filled now- fab results!) and every day I had been waking up with more fine lines.... but I look much more wrinkle free since I've been sleeping on my back x

Re: post op...How long before
Every day it gets easier, but for me 6 weeks was when i felt properly comfortable sleeping on my side. I know it's hard to believe, but you will feel back to normal. I always slept on my tummy pre-op, and i'm happily tummy sleeping again...even with my 460's!
So lovely to see you new Pre-oppers with your avi's, looking great girls! xx

Re: post op...How long before
No it's fine. I tuck my hands under the pillow slightly, doesn't put much pressure on my chest. I'm sleeping exactly the same as i did pre-op now xx
