Re: Wear after op?
I agree with everyone else! Just really comfy joggers or leggings.. a onesie is good babe because you don't need to pull it over your head. I wore a pyjama top that fastened with buttons at the front. My mum helped me get that on and off :):)
Eeek, I bet you're getting excited now for your 'occasion' haha ;) xxxxxxx

Yeh, don't forget the Buddha belly will make jeans your worst enemy for a few days post too! Also, the GA can to all sorts to your body temp, so most of the time I was just in my bra anyways. Yoga pants/joggers/leggings all the way.

Re: Wear after op?
Boney, type in Buddha belly in the search box at the top and it will bring up loads of threads about it. It's mainly down to being a bit backed up after having GA and then codeine. Codeine is renowned for making you not be able to go to the toilet! Advice that I have read it to drink lots of water after the op, and to get a supply of mild laxatives in just incase you need a little help. It should go down within a week or two. xx

Re: Wear after op?
I cant take codeine as it makes me violently sick, will they give me an alternative? I really don't like the idea of having a big tummy after the op? Xx

Re: Wear after op?
Make sure you tell them that you can't have codeine and they should be able to give you something else babe. I don't like the idea of having a big tummy after the op either, but I can stick it for a few weeks if it means I get me some big boobies. xx

Re: Wear after op?
Just bought a Franklin & Marshall tracksuit for the day!! I was going to get a onsie but like Sahara said, onsies can be start to get quite annoying when you need the toilet - let alone when you've just had an op!! Thanks for all your help & advice. Xx

I keep thinking about getting a kush, do you think they are worth getting? X

Re: Wear after op?
Hey Boney, sorry for delay! Buddah belly is a glorious side affect of the GA. It bloats you. Plus the constipation. Also you'll find yourself hunching for the first week or so trying to protect yourself, which exacerbates it. Theres no quick solution, though peppermint tea is meant to help (though it makes me vom, yuck). Plenty of fluids, white proteins (chicken, turkey etc), and it'll pass eventually. And yes, a few girls need some laxatives by day 3!
Lacey, see here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Its meant to prevent cleavage wrinkles! Although a lot of the girls find it helps support post op when sleeping because of the new weight. I used a pair of socks personally, probably up til about 5mth before I could comfortably sleep without it.
