The first couple of weeks post op, you're going to have a lot of swelling. When you go from laying (well, head above heart to reduce swelling) to upright, all the blood and fluids rush back into your boobs. This feels sore and tender and achy for a few minutes. That's morning boob. Lasts a couple weeks, then one day you wake up and find its gone. Happy days!

Re: Morning boob?
Charlii's right! Morning boob is pretty painful for the first two weeks. I personally found that morning boob didn't just occur in the mornings but actually throughout the whole day. This could have been due to the fact that I was lay down for most of the time because I was in quite a lot of pain. You have to do a lot of bun shuffling for the first two weeks as you won't be able to usr any strength to push yourself up with your arms or elbows. People won't be able to pull you up either as this is just as painful. You'll find that you'll develop some pretty strong abs by the end of the two weeks because you'll learn how to pull yourself up with your lower torso haha.
It actually took me at least 5 minutes to rise from my relaxed position because it was so uncomfortable, awkward and painful haha. I don't want to scare you though! A lot of girls don't suffer that much from morning boob and recover very well!
Take care, babe xxxx
