why I hate the word fake!

For the first Time in 15 years I finally feel like I'm not a fraud I'm not faking it. before my ba could I boast that I wasn't fake? - I wore hugely padded bras and special super size chicken fillets. Each night or before or before sex I would have to take my breasts Off and put them on the bedside table. I felt like a fraud. Yet society deem that acceptable and label augmented breasts as 'fake'?! Finally I can shop for non padded bras because I dont feel the need to fake it anymore. My breasts are a part of me and I finally feel like I'm not faking it!

I have only had mine for a week today and they are part of me now :)
Actually now I have had it done and spoken openly about it with few friends over the past week- it turns out that more than I realised have had them done and mostly I have had very positive and supportive reactions for taking the courage to have a BA. It's a big operation at the end of the day!
We need to be proud of what we have achieved yes

I love this!! I don't see why having gel outside of your boobs isn't fake but having gel inside is definitely fake? I, too, used to wear bras that made me appear a big B cup and i used to stuff in two lots of chicken fillets!
I'm so happy you love your new boobs and don't for one second think they feel fake!! This post is amazing! :)

Thanks I bought a gorgeous underwired but non padded balcony bra from marks and Spencer it's so soft and comfy but very pretty and a lovely shape expect new avi soon! X

Thanks it is so soft and comfy and gives me a lovely enhanced shape without padding it is a - per una super soft comfort embroidery full cup balcony and it's 22.50 but if u get the matching boxers the fitting assistant gives u 5.00 voucher to use at the till. All the others are too rigid, too pointy etc x

And I am happy my niggles with zingers have gone, and I can't feel ripples anymore maybe I was the muscles or mid dropping rx

I totally love this post Loui - I haven't really told many people about my BA - but I was defo fake before - with my super padded bras... I looked about a B small C depending on if I had fillets in as well... I don't feel fake just now after my BA but no one has seen me yet or knows about it... I got measured yesterday and I openly told the girl about it.. (well she was going to see my macom and stitches anyways) and she was very positive about it... I hope I don't feel fake now I have had a BA but I guess sometimes I might, but they are part of me, and should have been for all of us from day one, we hjust weren't that lucky, or sacrificed it for our kiddies..

love this post! At the moment I am a total fake sitting here typing in my Asda 2 sizes bigger super duper padded bra, but as of a week Wednesday I will be a non fake big booby woman!! I have not told many people about what I am going to do but I have a feeling I am going to want to shout it from the rooftops! xx

Too true, I definitely felt faker before my BA especially when taking off the ginormous gel bra and hearing it thud on the floor!
Now this is just me, every minute of every day, no worrying about the gel pouch slipping out of place or anything! x
