Bra Shopping = **naughty word** off me !!!

Just got back from trying to get a bra and Im really **naughty word** off. I went to a little lingerie shop locally there lady there was lovely told me she had a BA ect and we chatted and so on anyways she measured me and said I was a 32FF - 32G depending on what I wanted and If I felt more comfy a 34 F would be the one, anyways didnt get a bra from there I refuse to spend £54 on A bra, so went across to the department store told the woman I had had a BA to which she looked at me in complete disqused measured me and told me I was a 36 DD WTF she then went and got me the most hidious black lacy thing which I put on (with her still there)the shoulder straps hung off me so she tightened up to the tightest she could (was still lose) I felt like I had no support what so ever and it made me look like madonna, She abruptly asked me what I thought I told her I thought she was wrong with her sizing and the bra looked awful, she then banged on about she had been measuring for years ect ect and was right, I told her I wasnt going to bother and would stick to my sports bras for now whilst removing the hidious thing she stormed out the changing room my boobs on full view of everyone as she opened the door..... Not a happy bunny to say the least I also think I may have got myself banned from the store as when I was leaving I very loudly shouted a few words of disgust !!!! So I now come home no better than I was when I left sod it Im gonna stick to sports bras..... Grrrrrrr Iv got a banging headache now toooo

awh sorry to hear about your day ,its the last thing you need when you've been through such a personal change ,people who are mostly likely jealouse dont let the negativity get you down

why dont you see if they have a complaints form to fill in so she can shove her sh*tty attitude up her butt!! everyones entitled to their own opinion but she should have at least been professional! try somewhere else and they should be nicer, ive heard the ladies in la senza and bravissimo are brill?! dont let this one small minded woman get you wound up, take a deep breath and look down at your boobies, mine always make me smile!!

Awww cheers chick !! Im gonna pop to asda In a mo Im gonna try some bras on there yes may not be glam or the right thing to do but at least I wont have to go thro that again :( and Il get a bra lol x

I dont really know tho I was told 2 totally completly differnt things lol. Id like to think the first nice lady was right tho as I did do the online calculator (be cheeky one) and came out a 34F Iv just measured my band size again and it coming up 32 (i was 33 2 weeks ago is that possible to lose weight there?) so Im gonna go and grab a load in asda to try just to get something to tide me over until I get my confidence back.

That is SO rude. Particularly her letting all and sundry see you with no top on. You should definitely complain. I would definitely go somewhere else and try a few pretty bras on by yourself to cheer yourself up x

What a judgmental cow! It always ticks me off shfn some hourly worker who wouldn't HAVE a job if I wasn't in there buying what she's selling! Grrr

What a bloody cheek! I remember reading another topic on here, and it is definitely NOT the norm for the sales assistant to remain in the changing room with you... she obviously just wanted to have a peek... jealous idiot!

I definitely think you should complain.. no customer should ever made to feel that way. I would be absolutely steaming!!


She must just be jealous.. don't let it take away from your beautiful new boobies. Watch the bravissimo online video that helps you understand how a bra should fit and you can do it yourself rather than going through that stress again! Or pop to bravissimo if you have one near you!

I soooooooo wish I had a bravisimo near me I really do I think the closest one is about 40 miles away :( Oh well I will let you know how I get on at asda... x

I'm an ex bra fitter and there is no way u r a DD let alone at 36 back!
I would say 32/34 E or F, and that's jus fron pictures!

i would have said do you mind leaving whilst i try the bra on please, she shouldent be stood there watching unless you request her to.

i think a phone call to some one in charge of her dept might be in order, just say you felt embarrased when she left the curtain open for all the customers to see your bosoms, and you felt the customer care part of her role was most certainly lacking in this ladies attitude...............................poor you cmom heres a hug

Well Just back from asda tried on different sizes in all different styles except from 32s as they never had any.... I am fitting both a 34 E and 34 F depending on style :) Im happy with this however I hope I might get a little bigger lol. I only brought one bra and its lush will try and get a pic later, It one of the michelle collection and was half price

i went with my friends to try on some bras at marks and spencer and was trying on C cup ones but they were def to tight and i asked the lady if she could get me the same bra in a D and she went off and came back and said sorry they dont have your size so i said ok dont worry about it... and then i went out and had a look myself and there were SEVEN bras in MY SIZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so i took all seven bras back into the changing room and said to her ARE YOU F****** BLIND!? threw them at her and walked away!!!!
seriously its all down to jealousy but why oh why do these people work in a lingerie department thats what i dont understand!!!
so hun dont let them get you down just keep trying other shops and as soon as they get rude just ask them if they want your surgeons number cause you think they could do with one too!!
