Which sports bra
Hi, it' a minefield out there as far as bras are concerned! Which sports bra would you all recommend for after surgery? Xx

Re: Which sports bra
I have got a Macom ready for after my op, you only need to order in your band size as the cups expand which makes it easier to buy before as you don't need to know what size you are going be be to buy one.x

Re: Which sports bra
Hi, welcome to the forum!
We have a few firm faves amongst the ladies here. If you're looking at a front fastener, theres the Macom, for which you only need to know your band size as they will accommodate up to a HH, or the M&S high impact zip front, which also looks quite nice, but doesn't have adjustable straps.
If you're after a back fastener (which is also good because you can just get bra extenders to accommodate the swelling), theres the Triumph Triaction Extreme, Shockabsorbers, and the M&S High impact 2pk sports bras.
Steer clear of anything cheap, Asda Primark etc, as they just wont give you the support you need.
Hope that helps!

Re: Which sports bra
I'm just doing a bit of shopping now in preparation. I like the look of the m&s zip front bra - is this ok for straight after surgery?

Yes, its high impact, so will hold them boobies tight and stable. I didn't get on too well with it though, because I have quite a long body and theres no adjustable straps, so I found it was hunching me, but a lot of the girls get on really well with it.

Re: Which sports bra
I bought the macom, although it is expensive I would defo recommend it. I had no idea what size I would be so the macom was perfect for me. I tried it on pre BA and it was weird thinking that it would stretch any bigger but it has. I unfortunately got one slightly too small round the bandwidth so I have ordered another in the bigger size..
good luck :D xx

Re: Which sports bra
I have a Triumph Triaction bra that I bought from T X Max for £8.. It's normally £22 online.. And it's absolutely wonderful! It holds my boobs tightly in place and is comfortable to wear on a daily basis and when sleeping :)
For straight after my op, however, I bought one from M&S (a post-surgical bra) and this worked wonders too! I went up 3 bandsizes after my op due to swelling so I bought a 38C :)

I'm wearing a M & S post surgery bra. It's soooo comfy. You also get it VAT free as it's surgical.
