Hi girls.. Spoke to nurse today on telephone as leftie still weird.. I told her I would wait a few weeks and come in to see PS and if still the same I told her I wanted a re-op.. I also said since the surgeon will possibly be going in anyway, could he give me bigger implants as I'm really unhappy with size.. She said possibly but I will have to pay for implants!! I didn't know I'd have to pay... Slightly confused as I thought I could get free size change with Allergan.. I really want to go to around a 460...now I know that the size I got and the size I wanted are totally different.. Is there something I can take, like a document to surgeon to say I shouldn't pay for resize as Allergan kind of promote it.. Just looking for some advice xx thanks girlies xx  Give You

I'm not sure about that, babe! I thought you could get a free set of implants if the implants rupture or if you have capsular contracture.. I'm not sure if you can get free ones just because you want to upgrade on the size. Have you googled it? Did you get the Natrelle range? I think the Natrelle have different rules on implant insurance :)

I didn't want to read and run anyway, babe.. I hope you're okay :) GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR REOP CONSULTATION!!XXXX

Allergan will only replace implants if they are faulty. So should the implant rupture they will replace it free of charge as it is guaranteed. If you want to change the size of your implants you would need to buy the new implants as there is no problem with the other set.
I think this is the section of the guarantee that you are refering to
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wrote:

  • Free size changes. At the request of your surgeon, any available size may be selected to replace your current Natrelle™ silicone gel-filled breast implant* at no cost to you. Also you may choose another style of Natrelle™ breast implant (a charge may apply on a product with a higher price). Free contralateral breast implant replacement is conditional on the surgeon's specific recommendation. This offer only applies to surgery with covered products after January 1st 2008

However this section in the what is not covered will apply:

  • Dissatisfaction with implant size or aesthetics

  • Adverse reactions other than implant rupture

  • Removal of implants due to capsular contracture, wrinkling or rippling
