Just seen the nurse
Hi,
Just seen the nurse and had my band removed.
My boobs have pretty much dropped and are a tad swollen on top.
She said this will pretty much be the final result.
They are still wonky- even profile but lefty is wider. Obviously wider.
Thanks for all your support girls.

Without any doubt at all....at 8 days post-op babe I can assure you that what you have now will NOT be the final result at all. What you're looking at now is not anything like what your final result will be babe.
Glad the band has been removed though hun x

Re: Just seen the nurse
I agree with Cookie, at 8 days you still have loads of oedema and the trauma from the surgery will be causing the tissue around your boobs to become swollen and contorted and this will make the shape look unusual... they will definately drop more over the next couple of months as this takes time as the skin relaxes over the implant allowed the gel to settle... I think the nurse needs some additional training and I dont think I have ever known anyone on here who has said their boobs stayed as they were on day 8!

Re: Just seen the nurse
The nurse I saw to get dressings removed was a general nurse who aactually knewnothing of BAs just was tthere for the wound. She said i looked a nice B cup - bitch. Your surgeon will tell you completely different!

Re: Just seen the nurse
Lol..... Wish I had the band...boobs hurt more without it. Tbh I don't think anyone who works for THG seem to know #### all.
The surgeon will say he couldn't do bigger etc etc. She said she will speak to him tomorrow which seems pointless. I'm back in 2 weeks to have the tape removed.
Was supposed to be adding tape everyday after I wash.....nice to know. Absolutely useless.

Re: Just seen the nurse
I am quite lucky that the nurses who work at spire and see you post op are solely cosmetic surgery nurses so they know what they are talking about and they know each of the cosmetic surgeons very well so I've had a really good service.. it really annoys me when other people get bad service at some of the other clinics and how dare that bitch say you look a nice B cup cazzyxo!!

Re: Just seen the nurse
hey kenzie,
so sorry to read you're having such a hard time with THG... is it worth having a chat with your pcc about things like appointments?
i'm about to book with THG and so far i've had a completely different experience with them... so hopefully it'll continue well.
but as the others have said, we're here for you in any case x

Re: Just seen the nurse
I booked them all through my pc..... she's fairly useless.
I'm going to be writing to director level because o really am not comfortable with their aftercare so far. Can't help but wonder if they are just smiling and nodding with things.
I love how my nurse blames the surgeon for the aftercare confusion
Apparently Mr Hassan works very different to the usual procedures. .. so the nurses get confused. .....surely its their job to know

It's definatly their job to know kenzie x and I don't blame you for complaining about your aftercare x is there any way you can speak to your surgeon? X I'm just wondering if that might help? X

Re: Just seen the nurse
I asked but was told that she (nurse) will speak to him.
Even my doctors note was crap. I do admin but that involves a lot of heavy folders and moving around to different buildings in London. My boas will be awkward. So I asked for a note just to say lifting should be restricted.
They wrote a note saying what surgery I have had and that I should wear sports bras lol useful.

Omg that's dreadfull! Newboobz is right go to your gp, there is no reason for your note to say anything other than general surgery.

No I don't blame you lol x if you give your gp surgery a ring, he/she should be able to issue you with one without you needing an appointment. How are you feeling about them now Hun? X

Re: Just seen the nurse
Still not particularly happy with them. Still don't think I'll get the desired size.
I'll give them a quick call.
