Silly nurse
I have to share my funny story with you ladies.Friday I had my re-op consultation. The nurse took me into the room and ask me to take my top off and explain a few things to her that I wanted to go over with the doctor about before the doctor came in.So as soon as I took my shirt off the nurse says "Oh,you do look a DD cup".OMG! I laughed and said lady an H/I/US and GG/Uk cup bra I just bought is snug on me.I though it was funny because they don't look a DD to me.They definately look bigger than that when I'm undressed. Was her vision off?
Just wanted to share my chuckle from the other day!

Re: Silly nurse
Just proves how peoples perception of actual breast size can greatly differ from that of another doesn't it Emme-Kate?!
A lesson for all pre-ops I'm thinking to check and double check your post-op sizing with pics of the size you want of your new boobs, just telling a surgeon a cup size is not enough, you need if your serious about having a specific size to back that up with pics so you both read from the same page.
Emme-Kate - I'd have loved to have seen the nurses face when you set her straight hun. xx

Re: Silly nurse
It does open your eyes to how people view things. At first I thought she was joking because before my surgery I was a DD/DDD and didn't have a reduction.Even though they look wide and flat in clothes I look bigger than a DD even when dressed. And here I am in front of her, naked and that's when they look really big and she thinks I look a DD!LMAO!Goodness,my rib cage is 32.5" and my bust is now at 43" since they settled more this week & they def aren't a DD at this point.
When I told her the size all she said was "Really" as if I was full of myself and left the room to get the doctor.I was glad when the nurse I knew from my surgery took over from there because I think I would have laughed the whole time if the other nurse had stayed.

Re: Silly nurse
Hi tracy2010,I really like the shape of them, the cup size is perfect and the lift is turning out really nice! It's just that the projection isn't enough for my frame. In clothes I look wide and flat.Out of clothes they look huge though.I'm just having a re-op to get the HP's put in.there weren't any complications. Thanks so much for asking though!
I still giggle when I think of the nurse saying that.It was so funny! She was so serious when she said it.
Maybe she was new to the boob world,I hadn't seen her there before Friday?!LOL!

Re: Silly nurse
Im new to the boob world too but even I know the difference between a dd and a gg !
Oh glad to hear there hasn't been any complications as such then, Im sure you'll be so much happier when you have the projection you want.
It's funny you should say that because although I don't have much at the moment (34b) my boobs are very very wide and sort of flat!!! So Ill mention to my surgeon about having high profile - is that what gives you projection? xx

Re: Silly nurse
The higher the profile of the implant the more projection you will get :)
