Nurse check up
Hey everyone!
I had my nurse 10day check up today and I'm left with some unanswered questions, I didn't really warm to her at the pre-op either and today i've found again that I get no information unless I specifically ask for it. Will be ringing my pss tomorrow to try and get some answers but until then i'm wondering if you girls can help me out.
1. I have two bloody lines, about 1-2cm long on the outside of my left boob either side of the incision.
---
-----------------------
---
Here's a picture to explain better lol. I asked the nurse what these were, first she replied saying she doesnt know, she has no idea what Mr K's done and then when I didnt seem satisfied with the response she said maybe a skin tear? I'm going to take some pictures later (when my bf comes back so he can have a look) and I'll put them on picturetrail, any suggestions would be amazing.
2. I've been given some iodine substance and steri-strips to keep over my incisions for 4 weeks, she's given me 9 steri-strips to change every 2-3 days... you do the maths...
I've no idea whether that means I can only shower every 2-3 days then change the strip, or can I shower with them on and only change them every 2-3 days? I tried asking her but she just deflects questions!!!!!
I think thats it... probably not though so i'll add more when they pop in my head.
Any expertise is very welcome thank you

Re: Nurse check up
dont know about the shower, but I had skin pigmentation above my scar for a good few months, just a red line above my scar. It went from red to brown then faded awat completely.
Re: Nurse check up
It looks like a scratch? Had a proper look and I have 3 lines on my left and just one on my right, they seem too straight and neat to be an accident but must have been deepish to not have healed in 10 days?
Just uploading my pictures onto picturetrail now, I think you have my details? would be great if you could have a look if you have time
xx

Re: Nurse check up
i have them too hun its from the tightness of the straps it looks like scratches. the steristrips are only splash proof and not to soak or shower with so change them when they get wet babe. hope that helps.x

Re: Nurse check up
i had straps on for a week i think it pushes the implants down or keeps them in place lol i didnt ask because i know quite a few ladies on here had them too. its like thick sticky tape all around the top, under and inbetween my boobs. i could only see my nipples for the 1st week lol. but it was tight and uncomfortable and my scratch like cuts are around where that was so i jus put 2 and 2 together, propably got too tight when i got really swollen. some of them have disappeared already so yours should fade away too babe.x

Re: Nurse check up
Hi steph, I had your details from last time and just had a look. I must say, you have really beautiful, natural, healthy looking breasts, well done!!! Apart from the blue ink, I can only see one tiny scratch on your left boob and you healed so well, that I cant even see the incisions!!! Did you have drains by any chance, maybe that's where it comes from?

Re: Nurse check up
The same nurse just called me finally and still doesnt know what they are, she said if im worried I can come in and she'll have another look but I've said im not worried and their healing fine but I just want to know why I have marks on my body? Conversation went around in circles and I basically dont see the point in me going in when she didnt know before and she still doesnt now, and all shes say is they look fine and are healing fine, which I already know!!!
ANNOYING!!!!
Heres a pic of one... if anyone has a clue would appreciate suggestions...
I think the only possibility is clamps in surgery but i dont know if they were used, or would have this effect or anything...

Re: Nurse check up
No I think you have very right to moan and want to know what they are. I would be the same. If they leave a scar, then you need to know whether they were done by mistake?! I would take lots of pics and ask when you go back to see your surgeon Hun xxx

Re: Nurse check up
NO PROGRESSSSS
Going to ring today AGAIN and ask for them to speak to Mr Kuna. The marks are still there (will update picturetrail at some point today/tonight) so 17 days of healing... must have been pretty deep.
Apparently Stargem has mystery cuts/scars too and has no answers either. Whats going on?!?!!?!?

Re: Nurse check up
Well... didnt notice it says im blind on my medical records....
"I have shown and discussed your pictures with the surgeon Mr Kuna today. He is not concerned that there is anything abnormal, he thinks the marks may be small scratches that are now healing." - form the head nurse
I e-mailed her some photos hoping she could tell me why the scratches are there.......
ARGHHHHHHH

Re: Nurse check up
"Ma che figura di merda!!!" I guess that you will have to wait until you see Mr Kuna again to get a decent answer because they seem to be running away from the subject. He could have scratched you with the scalpel by mistake, but then the scratch would only be on one side I guess. It's strange that you have them on both sides. Do you know someone else that had the same surgeon and nurses to see if they got the same? Keep the photos, that's for sure!

Re: Nurse check up
Yeah im going to keep taking new pics too!! I'll try asking a girl on here I've spoken to before. I think its pretty bad if he managed to accidently scratch me with the scalpel 3 times!!!!
No idea just have to wait and see... hope they dont scar

Re: Nurse check up
Did the nurses or anyone from the medical team have long nails? It sounds sill but don't know what else to think

Re: Nurse check up
I never noticed but i think its way deeper than anything like that. Surely a nail scratch wouldnt have lasted 3 weeks.... Think it may scar so it must have been deep. I think it was the scalpel but i dont understand why or if it was an accident why the accident happened 4 times in similar places?!?
