Nurse or surgeon?
Hi ladies I am now 3 weeks post op and have my 6 week check on 11th October, this 6 week check is only with the nurse though, I haven't yet been given appointment for a follow up with the surgeon. So can the nurse give the go ahead to stop wearing sports bras and go into normal bras or is it the surgeon that has to do this? Xx

Yes sweetie, your clinic nurse can give you the all clear to start wearing wires Although it's exciting to get the all clear for wires though, you have yet to see a surgeon?
I'd make an appointment to see your surgeon too as soon as you can lovely, just so they - The expert you paid your money for, can check on your progress also. xx

Re: Nurse or surgeon?
It depends where you're having your surgery Kenzie.
If you book through the larger commercial clinics they generally expect to see you at around 1 week post-op, 6 week post-op, 6 months post-op and 1 year post-op.
With the smaller or private clinics they 'generally' see you at around 1 week post-op and then again between 6 weeks to 3 months post-op, they may or may not feel the need to see you again after that.
If you do not keep the appointments made for your check-ups your after-care could then become void Kenzie. xx
