Sensitive Stingy Boobies

I have typed in sunburn ....as that is what it feels like..... My boobs are not sore but have an unpleasant tingly stingy feel.. VERY sensitive too.

So I gather cold packs....and maybe piriton ?? This right ladies, anyone else had the same...... I hope it doesn't last too long...been a few days now.

Ooh that sounds unpleasant, maybe cold cabbage leaves like u can use when ur breastfeeding would help? Mine are bit tingly but really chilly and nipples are shiny!? Theyve also def dropped a bit, i got a fright when i took bra off this morn. Wondering if i should try a firmer bra than the macom as it feels a bit looser? Hope u get some relief asap! XxDi

Di.... I have heard that the macoms stretch? Perhaps a good time to get a more supportive one. Thank you, cold cabage leaves sounds gooooooood yes

I remember that breast feeding feeling...similar to that , this is yes! xxxxx

The sunburn sensation is very common hun.

Some women find the piriton helps, some find its icepacks - for me it was icepacks.

Not pleasant hun I know Hug

but it generally doesn't last long. Xx

About to settle down and watch 'Silent witness' on the sofa... will try the ice-packs this evening.

I actually like my macom more than my m and s one, but maybe the m and s one is too small for my boobies now(was 32f). I feel like I breathe better with the macom.

I've had the stingy sensation more around the sides of my boobs, and my ribs are a tiny tiny bit achey too. Does anyone else get that? x

Hi Sammi~ I had the sting at the sides early post op but that settled...more achey now, My ribs are a little tender in places under the band of my bra.

Alison, it is odd isn't it! Try the ice packs - the last hour they've relieved it a bit (for now)

Your ribs aching is normal ladies. If you find the band of your bra hurts due to your ribs hurting or tenderness around incisions due to swelling around the rib area then a sanitary towel or panty liner (sticky side against your bra) will help act as a nice soft cushion so its more comfortable for you if you need it. Xx

They joys of having a BA! how gorgeous must we all look/ have looked post op with cabbage & panty liners hanging out our sports bras , the buddha belly etc ... Just as well our hubby's/ partners love us ladies!... Hysterical

How are the boobs now, krizz? I cant stop munching, need to get out and walk but this weathers rubbish. I have a layer of fat on my stomach that's appeared post-op. Got a friend and her children visiting in a min and got the snacks in of course. Oink! XxD

Boobs have felt better during today but starting to feel super-stingy again this eve.

Di, I know the feeling, I am at least a few lbs heavier for sure.
I cannot stop eating! The first few days after BA was really good and healthy (apart from some chocs) Now I am eating so much junk and snacking..... Today we nipped in KFC, then this afternoon had cakes, this evening will probably enjoy some cheese'n'crackers before tomorrow when I plan on cutting out all the snacks etc!

It's like I am craving junk-food....... I can't stop panic
