Hot stingy and slighty red

My right boob is hot and pinkish, it has been the sore one throughout this process haven't heard a peep from lefty lol. Hope its ok, had the post op check yesterday and she said all is fine and its normal, just want the right one to feel like the left one, and i worry of infection as its sore and tender, but my scars are closed and perfect, so if it is infected it will be inside :( hope im worrying for nothing and this starts to go away, im 11 day PO now, hope all is normal, will do the frozen peas and stuff later on x x x shrug

Im on the piriton :) and yeah il do the peas later x I did the other night and it soothed it quite a bit, just worry its going to be infected but my wound was closed and fine. Can you get an infection in the boob and not the wound? Hope its just that my right is taking longer than my left to heal and feel normal x its just on the top of the boob so il lay the peas on later, cant wait x Thanks lisa xxxxxx

Sounds like your rightie probably suffered more trauma in surgery than leftie hun and its VERY common for one boob to feel so much more discomfort from than the other and as you were checked over yesterday and told all is fine I doubt very much you have anything to worry about lovely other than one breast is healing quicker than the other. But the two do eventually catch up :ok:

If at any time though Lottie you do feel overly concerned don't be shy of picking up that phone and asking to be seen babe. You paid a lot of money for the service so use it if you feel you need to babe. Xx

Thanks cookie, it is a sun burn feeling just been speaking to a lovely april lady about it, im on the piriton so just got to wait it out i suppose, its not unbearable just like ive been sun burnt with not going on holiday lol xxx Yeah lets hope it catches up soon my left is lovely lol

Ahhhhhh sunburn sensations are very common babe. Its the nerves that are healing that cause this feeling. Hopefully the piriton will help.

Thats great, I read that before my op but obviously forgot that was a symptom, just nice to know its normal x Reassuring x your lovely cookie so glad I found this site I would be lost without it x seeing stars
