Stretching sensation
A bit of a weird one but have any of you had this sensation...
When I get up from the couch or out of bed, it's like my whole body wants to stretch out, from my feet I feel a big sensation of a full body stretch in the muscles all through my legs and back, right up through the top of my head. it's Strangely nice actually! Almost like some kind of yoga move. Is it just me that has this.?
I suspect it is my body adjusting to the new shape and weight distribution?
I probably sound mad now lol x

Re: Stretching sensation
Your body is forced into positions it doesn't really want to be in in being propped up a lot of time throughout the day and all through the night, so its very normal to experience that stiffness and want a big stretch.
Whatever you do though don't stretch out your arms upwards because this could put pressure on your new incisions.
As mrs ball said, instinctively your body will want to hunch to protect the area that suffered trauma, but don't be afraid to straighten up when standing but listen to your body, it'll tell you by an ache or a pain when enough stretch to straighten out your posture is enough.
But thinking about your posture when standing is a great way to ease out of that stretch feeling as you straighten up. Xx

Re: Stretching sensation
I just realized that today! when I saw myself in the mirror I noticed I have really been hunched forward, today I am trying to keep shoulders back and get my back muscles engaged to get them used to carrying these extra lumps ;) x

Re: Stretching sensation
Extra lumps! Hahahaha
You should start feeling much better straightening out hun.
If you feel able, getting yourself out in the fresh air for a little walk will do you the world if good! Not too far, just a little walk especially with you experiencing dizziness.... Make sure someone is with you and a little walk in the fresh air will feel amazing. Xx
