is the skin still stretching?
Hey,
I'm nearly 8 weeks post op and still getting pains in my left boob near cleavage - have been going to the gym but it isn't because of that..
Sometimes it's a sharp pain and others it's a dull ache - don't know what or why it's happening.
Might make appointment in new year to see surgeon about it, even though he reassured me nothing was wrong when I saw him on the 28th nov
Any advice would be useful

Re: is the skin still stretching?
Your still so early post op that all that internal healing is still going. On. Even at 8 weeks the gym is a dodgy area, I couldn't run till around 5 months as it was uncomftBle.
Doing high impact classes Hun are going to put a strain your new boobs Hun, and the dull ache is a sign internally you're healing and it's your bodies way of saying take it easy for a bit.
Keep them nice and supported and secure in your sports bra or Macom. Xx

Its just normal healing pains, really nothing to worry about. They'll continue for a while yet! Dont forget, 2months is still considered very early in your recovery, and it can take up to a year before all the pangs and pains and aches stop completely. You'll often see on here people caught off guard by 'electric shocks' - this is because your nerve endings are repairing themselves. To put this in perspective, they grow at around less than a mm a day! And the gym work will make you sore, as you are still healing on the inside. It'll lessen over time, but you're not finished at yet!

At the gym, I wear an extreme impact shock absorber sports bra, they don't move anywhere in that!!!! I don't think it is the gym as was having the pains before starting back the gym, it even hurts when I'm wearing my macom/zip front sports bra at certain times.

I'm
3 months and still get the odd pains, but we are healing inside for up to two years so all pains are normal and I wouldn't worry too much xx

Sounds like simple nerve pain to me babe. Not pleasant to experience by any means but its a good sign that your boobs are regaining full sensation... You can go on feeling these pains for a year or so! Xx
