Good luck with whatever you decide! I do think you should go for a few more consultations though just to make sure you have explored all options to get you your desired result. XXX

Yeah feel like I could go on forever ha! Doesn't help that i went for the consultations by myself either so I have no unbiased person to help me decide ... not sure if I'm look on at either of them through rose tinted glasses.

Does anyone know much about THG / Transforms aftercare and how they compare ? X

Thanks cookie just been reading it ! Wow ! I don't think u could of coped with that! And I really can't afford to keep having reops done! I feel guilty enough as it is spending this much money on myself without having to find more!

Been discussing with hubby and definitely swaying towards THG now. When I came out of consultation with Mr Sforza I was excited !! And so confident!! Definitely clicked more with him! Plus I would be having Motiva implant with much lower chance of rippling. Will continue to compare them both though, I'm not wanting it done until April at the earliest as youngest baby only just 3 months so want to wait another 3 so I have time to ponder ! X

I'd say if you haven't got THE feeling about just one, keep going. See more. Can't recommend Mr H enough. You can see him for consultations in Doncaster. Surgery in is Birmingham area though xx

It's a huge decision to make hun so I'd say get a 3rd opinion from a BAAPS surgeon then go with the best of 3... No matter how much you 'click' with a surgeon from a company, just be aware that if you have any problems you have to go through the company rather than through them... Once you've found the one you'll know :) Good luck xx

Thanks gleaming, that's why I'm swaying towards Me Sforza as THG seem much better. I've heard countless bad things about Transform, although Mr Clarke has an outstanding rep! I definitely thought I'd found 'the one' with Sforza! At least this is a happy dilemma to have! Couple of weeks back I thought I'd never be able to have it done ! X

Post by misskaren 13th January 2014, 10:42 pm

personally i just didnt 'take' to the girl in transform - too salesy and i felt a bit for the surgeon as he was being messed about with them too - they supposedly get alot of forgein surgeons - to be hinest i liked the surgeon i met but transfom didnt work with the allergan natrelle implants i wanted - they onky had the cui range which i didnt want.

i would go with the best aftercare policy.  there is alot of talk on BAAPs surgeons as i believe they are specialist - my surgeon is BARPS registered and specialises in breast reconstruction and does hundreds of BAs and he was really good so i personally would look at BARPs surgeons - think thats the right initials!!! lol

good luck hun xx

Morning ladies! Im going to email both PCC today and ask all the questions on cookies questionnaire, plus ask for a copy of the aftercare policy, also want to ask about no. Of BA performed per year, redo rates and scar rating, I don't know much about scar rating however does anyone know how this works??

Anything else I should be asking ? X

its so hard when choosing but you are 100% going the right away about in, in double checking everything also not sure if cookie has mentioned or you have read but you can pay a little extra if you have a BAAPs surgeon and get an added 2 years aftercare xx

Yup some BAAPS surgeons have opted into an insurance that's ONLY available to BAAPS.

This insurance is called ASC and for a small additional fee (around £150-£200) if the surgeon has opted in you can get yourself an amazing additional 'full coverage' aftercare that will start 'after' your clinics aftercare finishes. Xx

I think that this is great specially when you go with say spire who only give 1 year aftercare if you can get this insurance then it takes you up to the standard 3 years aftercare xx

Absolutely! It then puts their aftercare on par with the large clinics who have manipulated this 'business' being able to offer more aftercare. Xx

Spire are an exceptional clinic. They have the lowest complication we've seen here. I think probably because of the quality of surgeon they use... So yes, the additional two years is amazing. Xx
