does my rightie look too high for 6 Weeks PO?
Would appreciate it if you would look at my avi (sorry its upside down) and tell me if you think its normal for my right breast to be so high still. Getting a bit worried x

Were your boobs symmetrical pre-op?

It is normal to still have wonky books at 6 weeks pist-op yes hun... But. If you don't already have an appointment arranged for your 6 week post-op appointment then it may be wise to make one so your surgeon can see your progression.
At 6 weeks I was exactly the same as yourself and was advised to massage the tops of my boobs to encourage the implant down and it worked a treat for me... But 12 weeks I had perfect symmetry.
You should never massage though unless under your surgeons instruction if at all he feels it needs any help. But it would be advisable to let your surgeon take a look and for them to offer further post-op advise if they feel its necessary 'for you'.
So don't worry hun. You're completely fine for 6 weeks post-op. You're a long way from your final result just yet. Xx

Your avi isnt loading for some reason...But for what its worth, at 6wk my lefty was still very high, and by 12, absolutely fine. If I remember correctly, you're not going back until 12wks, like I did. If you are at all worried, do ask to see your surgeon sooner, but I think its probably just taking its sweet time!

Thanks. Yes you are right Charlii, I dont go back till 8th Jan. I might email over a picture to my pcc though and see what they think. My right was actually lower pre-op so maybe he placed it slightly higher to compensate?? x

It does look high, but its tricky to say with your arms up and muscles tensed, if you know what I mean. I say maybe get your other half to take some front on pics, arms down and then hands on hips to send over to your surgeon if you're concerned, but its likely that it'll come down on its own in the next few weeks.

Hi my leftie has been higher since my reop and I've been worrying continually! However it is finally beginning to drop down ever so slightly and I am 5 weeks post op. Everyone has given me endless reassuramce not to worry about it so early so I'm sure yours will also settle and we'll both end up with equal boobs in the end! I know after my first BA one was slightly different to the other right up till around 3 months from looking at my old pics so try not to worry. Should probably practise what I preach haha seeing as I post almost daily having various panics! X
