leftie hurts more than rightie

Hi everyone, leftie hurts more than rightie 463481

just wanted to make sure that this is ok, my left boob, has been hurting alot more than my right for a few days now, they are both fine in the morning but as the day goes on leftie swells up more and i can feel the implant pushing into my muscle more, also in my crease where my stitches are i have a pain and it only hurts when i sit down, it feels like stitch but worse, do i have anything to worry about here?, i did very slightly pull myself the other day trying to take my top off but i was being very gentle and i just felt a pull and then i tensed up.

went to see nurse yesterday and everything is healing well, but how would she or i know if ive pulled a stitch inside? i would be in agony wouldnt i, how would my breast look if i had done this?

let me know, dont want to worry unecessarily, but dont want to ignore something serious leftie hurts more than rightie 727885

im right handed and had more discomfort on the left side to begin with.now they are more settled its rightie that aches or stings more,both boobs are seperate ops and will heal at different rates.
i think if you had hurt your stitches you would have a lot of pain in the incision area,possibly some weeping etc.i still have mondors cord which is inflamed veins etc running from under bust crease down my stomach,they hurt more than anything else

Hi hun, it is normal, a BA is two operations one on the left boob and one on the right, so they can heal at different rates and one can be a little more painful than the other even though you had them at the same time. I wouldn't worry hun.

hi thanks for that, i think its bruising inside my ribs, but it really does hurt down to my stomach like ive been punched in the boobs and all the way down lol.. i cant get comfy again, oh its soo annoying leftie hurts more than rightie 852192

when you stretch your arms up slightly,if there are small ridges,try massage from the tummy upwards

i have a lots of little veiny like bruises which are killing, they are mainly around the bust line but the pain stretches down to my stomach.. will massage it but it hurts..

Hey chick, my right boob is more uncomfortable than my left one. The swelling is a real pain in the bum, last night was really bad, hoping it will go off soon. xxoo All good fun eh??!! xoxoxoxo

I had more trouble with my righty for the first month or so. It was more sore then the leftie and if I moved my arm wrong I could sometimes feel a kind of tearing sensation. But that has pretty much gone now. And hopefully that stays that way.

my left still feels unsettled, and more swollen on the side by my ribs under my arm, im right handed and think that because i dont use that side as much that maybe this is why it aches more?

also can i ask anyone when they were a week post op if they could feel a slight tip up in their implants if they bent forward?? i can in leftie more makes me feel queasy leftie hurts more than rightie Icon_pale

hi girls this left boob pain is really kicking in now, also finding it hard to breath in??? i am over tensing my left shoulder and arm, no pain in stitches now, pain in actual boob and its swelling up, should i call my nurse?

Yes! If the breast is suddenly swelling and causing you this much pain hun you should call your clinic. xx

But you do need to contact your surgeon if your breast has suddenly swollen at 9 days post-op and causing you so much pain, it should be checked out babe. xx

ive called my surgeon and spoken with the nurse, she didnt seem to bothered but i was terrified..how am i supposed to know whats going on inside my body and whether the pain i am feeling is ok? anyway she just said as long as its not hot or red and i have no flu like symptons...take some pain relief..which is what ive done and ive got an ice pack on it..i hope to god theres nothing wrong, everything was going well, but i have started driving, maybe as its my gear changing and handbrake arm, then thats why my boob has swollen, and hurts..going to stop driving for a few days and see what happens.
