ribcage and results
hi girls just wondering what difference ribcage shape gives and how it changes results
all the surgeons I have seen ultra high profile overs of varying size....i beleive i have a narrow back and my ribs are rounded and dont go in i cant think of medical terms but i think it affects how the implant sits on the breast wall is that right xxx

Re: ribcage and results
It does affect the surgeons decision on implant size for you Senora
If your ribs protrude they're called 'obtuse' if they fall inward, they're 'concave'
So because of the shape your rib age falls, your resulting size could be very different to that if another lady with the exact same stats and the exact same implant size.
These small variations in our bodies Senora are what make us all unique. Xx

we sure are hun it still amazes me how we ba can look so different ,,mayb if mine is obtuse why the need for larger cc to give projection, i remebr one website showing example of a building put on hill or dip how different it would look ..weird example i know but it made sense lol:ral:
last ba i didnt want too much side boob but wanted projection as i only had a cups on large frame and didnt want wide flat boobs lolxxx

Re: ribcage and results
Do you know Senora... My husband has always said I should have been a man, I have such an analytical mind lol
But I was just thinking about your rib cage and the side boob you have... And it would make sense wouldn't it if your rib cage is obtuse that it would move the breast outwards, thus producing more side boob than cleavage. The opposite of course being for someone having an concave rib cage.
So you have quite a complicated case don't you. But its always best to have a realistic view of the outcome of your surgery...
Maybe an XHP would be the way forward for you, but with your rib cage being the shape it is, it just might be that you will always have that side boob lovely. Xx

I think having an analytical mind is a good thing, especially when you're approaching something like a BA with all it's emotional attachment.
That's a good explanation though cookie and does demonstrate why everyone has such different results!x
