Re: September Buddies
Bed, glad to hear all went well....... That will be a lovely size babe, bet you can't wait to see them. How excited all done now. Happy healing.... Xx
Nsaw, you planted a seed now, goodbye meal for boobies...... I've just put that one in the think tank. What about good bye holiday for boobies...... That may be pushing it bit too far..............
Kel, how you feeling? You home yet Hunni or still waiting for painkiller?
Sassy, sorry to hear you got a bad shoulder is that from sleeping in awkward position, or should I say not sleeping..... Hope you feel better soon..... Xxxx
Jen, hi Hunni, I had an o.k birthday, didn't start too good. Was going to have lie in hubby was going to unlock shop. Come back breakfast in bed ( you get the jist, nice pampering day) well you know in my land plans do not go to PLAN........
So I get a text off one of my staff, she's sick. So I have to get up. Go to shop and try to sort someone to cover, I also have to ring her clients to reschedule or to tell them someone else can look after them. Also I'm feeling bit sick, got very bad upset tummy. So I'm in loo at work................ I leave work at 11. Go home...... To bed, as I'm feeling bit delicate. I wake up at 1.30...........
I go to gym with hubby, as feeling much better, go see in laws. My best friend, comes around with gifts. We have coffee.
Then last night my hubby takes me to my favourite restaurant for a meal......BLISS!!!!!!!!! Then I go see mum and dad then home to unwrap more pressies. Hubby got me about 30 wrapped presents. We go silly on birthdays, Christmas etc........... So was good in the end.....
. I've had bit time off today so I'm recharging my batteries. Back to work 5.30...... So thought I would try to catch up on here. As wasn't on here much yesterday..... Xx

Godd Hun, you don't do things by halves do you. You need to just put feet up and rest now........ Anaesthetic can knock you for 6. Think I'm last one on my surgery day, don't know if that good or bad. I havnt got to be at hospital til 4.30 so I'm going to work in the morning to stop me thinking about it too much...... Xx

Re: September Buddies
Jen, that be nice, go somewhere Thursday. Be like your birthday all over..... Hope you go somewhere nice.
I'm off on a track day next tues which I'm looking forward to. Hubby had new car on sept 1st and they gave us a track day to drive his car ( his model, not actually his) around a trek at silver stone and we get lunch too. It's a half day thing........ Can't wait! I wouldn't have been able to drive if I would've just had boobs done, not at those speeds.... But I can have go now....... So something good has come out of it..........

I agree def go to work. I kept myself really busy so I didnt have time to think about it.
Got to wait a week for the big reveal. Have to wear horrible surgical socks for 2 weeks. How on earth am I gonna disguise those bad boys. Will have to get 10 million denier black opaque tights lol !

Re: September Buddies
Hey Jen,
great news on the shower :)
I'm feeling ok, starting to swell and its my ribs that are killing me (is that normal).
But the pain is not what I expected and I have loads of movement in my arms, this all may change when I wake up. ? If I sleep. ?
How is everyone else doing?
Good luck for tomorrow Nikki xxx

I'm not at all bad starting to feel a little stiff though. Were you ok on journey home? You must be exhausted having op and coming straight home. My dressings are itchy already god knows how they are gonna feel by 7th day!! x

Re: September Buddies
It wasn't too bad coming home, mum drove so carefully (and slow because she didn't want to hurt me, bless her) and I had my v shaped pillow as padding..
I have the feeling back in mine now was weird them being numb. Can you look at yours at all before your week check? Xx

If the dressings come loose I suppose so but dressing completely covers them. Just jerked when I covered my face in a scarey bit of Whitechapel...ouchie! xx

Re: September Buddies
Kel and bex, glad you both seem to be doing well. It's hard knowing what discomfort to expect after as everyone does say it's not as bad as they expected........
Kel, you will have to get on piriton, it may ease that itching a bit for you...
Well you can both put your feet up and be waited on and looked after now.
Happy healing, been thinking of you today. Look forward to all the updates. It really helps us pre oppers.....xx

Re: September Buddies
Have you got to take regular painkillers? I'm not bothered about the op, it's more recovery I think. I'm a terrible patient. I'm so independent, I'm a nightmare. Don't like too much fuss and I know hubby will fuss..... Bless!! Xx

Re: September Buddies
Bizzy when I'm ill I'm near death! I'm sooo bad At being ill and I was never in pain apart from my back!! You can take 8 painkillers a day and even in day 1 I only took 4 and it was to help sleep... On day 5 I only took one and that was it, your be fine :)
You might have a slow recovery in the way your be tired eyc but I don't think your ever be in pain xx

Re: September Buddies
Thanks Jen, I can't be in pain, be a right moody mare especially if I got lack of sleep and all the rest........I'm going to be awful.......I can't sit still, I'm being serious too. Honestly... If I have my hair done at work, I'm twitching and I won't go under the heat, oh no I'm walking around, sweeping, tidying, I'm your worst nightmare.
I'm just going to after though. Or I know I do more harm then good.xx

Re: September Buddies
Bizzy the pain is no where near as bad as I expected. I can move my arms with no restrictions, although I'm trying my Hardest not to. All of my pain is coming from my ribs, my new boobies may feel swollen. I would say pain out of 10, 10 being the most is 1. but uncomfort level is about 6.. xx
