few questions
When getting ready to go home from having my BA yesterday the nurse told me to keep the lovely hospital stockings on for a while and in bed but when can I take them off?
Also where do you get bra extenders? I was a 30aa so got sports bras in 32 band but with the swelling its quite tight, would I be better getting 34 band or bra extenders until swelling goes down?
Sorry these seem like silly questions to be asking! !

Re: few questions
I ordered my extenders online but u may not be able to wait that long if u are uncomfortable.
I think primary might do them. I'm 5 weeks post op and still using mine. At one point I had 3 but now I'm just down to one!
With regard to the stockings, if u are being active, walking about then u could take off, I wore mine as long as **naughty word** but when went out took them off, by day 2 they were gone!!!

Re: few questions
If you're not getting up and about then you need your stockings on still lovely to avoid the risk of DVT. But once your up and having a little walk at least every couple of hours or so you're able to take them off.
You've no need to be going out buying lots of bras if you don't want to when extenders will do the job. I know la Senza sell them so if there's one of those nearby you maybe send someone to get those for you.
I'm sure debenhams also have them too.
I got mine from Amazon, they took 3 days to arrive, so if you need them now you'd be better sending someone to pick some up for you babe. Xx

Re: few questions
Bra extenders are sold on eBay which is where I got mine from... With the stockings you will be told how long you need to keep them on but I've seen that normally once your up and about you don't need them xx

Re: few questions
Thanks so much everyone, I'll have a look online for extenders and see if I can get next day delivery somewhere if not I might have to send hubby out to get some haha he'll not be impressed! Its not too uncomfortable just worried it will start to put pressure on the incisions.
Im not that active, just walking about the house so maybe im better to keep stockings on for a while then.

Re: few questions
If you're just worried about your incisions babe then a panty liner or sanitary towel sticky side against the bra will do to just cushion the incisions for you. Xx

Re: few questions
I put my stockings back on when I go to bed. I'm very mobile during the day but asked the nurse at my 1 week check up and she recommended around 2 weeks.

Re: few questions
Thanks for all the advise, its much appreciated! The band is tight and leaving marks on my skin, I seem to have a lot of swelling to my sides. I'll try the panty liner for the incisions and maybe send hubby out later lol in the meantime ive ordered a bra extender on ebay for £1.20 so no big loss if I dont need it!
