Few questions
Hi girls I have a few questions about my healing process. I've had my BA a little while now, I've had loads of changes and probably have more to come. Anyway, my first question is, is it normal for my boobs to still be quite firm, dont get me wrong they have softened a lot. They don't move much when walking or jumping.
Now for a strange one, my boobs at the top (from nipple up) is not numb and skin has done all it's stretching and that bit is fine, from my nipple down to my scar is still numb but when I hold my boobs in my hands the top of my boobs is normal temperature but underneath numb bit is quite a bit warmer. Sounds mad I know.
Still getting stabbing pains sometimes. Just a bit worried about my left nip as it's still quite numb even though it reacts to hot and cold. My right nip is normal. leftie was my fav one :-(
When I have a bra on they do form a cleavage but when I squish them with my hands to try to make a bum cleavage, they just feel too firm and it's not comfy.
Just wanna know if this is normal?

Re: Few questions
Hi hun, yes still early days so they should soften up a bit more yet, mine are still numb from nipple down too but nipple up is fine - this seems to be a normal thing for most girls. My nipples only returned to normal after about 4-6 months post op and were quite numb before that x
Re: Few questions
Thaks nads, was starting to worry a little, although I'd rather have numb boobs that no boobs anyday. As long as it all sounds normal. I'm healing nicely. Things just tend to play on my mind a bit, then I just have to ask the question/s.

Better to ask than worry misf1!!!
It all sounds normal to me...they say it takes a year to see final results. I met with my P.S. at 7months and he said I should experience more changes......also that they were now pretty soft, but, massage can speed the process and help internal scar tissue too. I do not have numbness or warmth, but the opposite and they sometimes feel cold My nipples have stopped standing to attention at random...thank goodness, however, they are quite the opposite now? I would say it was around the four month mark when all little niggles disappeared with me. Hope that is some help XXXX

Re: Few questions
Yes I did have overs nat, they will go together, just feels weird and like I'm pulling them, maybe it's the numbness and firmness making it feel strange. It's just really uncomfy.
Re: Few questions

Re: Few questions
Thanks mia. I might try massaging them, I do massage my scars with bio oil so I may as well have a go at the whole boob. Think I need to get remeasured as boobs are feeling quite squashed now. Keep getting red marks across the top of my boob from the cup. But I haven't got 4 boobs effect. I dunno if that is normal as I haven't had boobs before that would fill a cup to leave a mark.
Thanks cakey, I'm looking forward to the jiggling

Re: Few questions
Sounds like you do need bigger cup bras
I was shown how to massage quite firmly from the top cup your breasts and push them quite firmly inwards and work around the whole breast continue for about ten mins. twice a day....it does work.
I was terrified to touch them initially...P.S. demonstrated and it did not hurt ...said to treat them like normal breasts ...they are very robust...but when you have never had any it is difficult

Re: Few questions
Hi, I'm new here. I was told by my surgeon that we can not massage the textured Anatomical implants.
mia, what do you have? textured or smooth? Any comments? Thanks.

Re: Few questions
I still feel weird touching them mia I was told to treat them like normal breasts, so I just did what I did with my small boobs, put a bra on and leave them alone. That's normal to me. I will massage them with my palmers cocoa butter with vit E nat see if that helps. Suppose I'm still expecting too much too soon. I love balconnett bras, much more comfy than full cup and better cleavage. I'll try a 32FF, see how it fits.
Thanks girls. I am an impatient one. As long as they are nice and healed by my holidays next august I dont mind. Hopefully scars will be less noticeable for topless sunbathing if I have the guts (and less belly, sit ups from now on). I have textured implants but they said I could massage if I wanted, but it wasn't essential.

Re: Few questions
Hi Sk!!
I have textured!! and advised the same as you, initially. I had this advice at 7months after full examination when all settling and healing was complete and only massage if I wanted. I think like everything each individual is different and healing also differs as do P.S.'s. I too was wary and quite surprised how natural my breasts feel, however, the masage has helped to soften them. Hope that helps clarify my comments...sorry if i confused you xx

Massage to us and to surgeons are two completely different things. It's fine to massage them as we would normally massage our boobs eg quite softly, however after surgery massage is very intense and only really recommended in the case of cc, or similar and only under the direction and guidance of your surgeon.

Re: Few questions
i agree with the others misf 1 you still have loads of healing to do yet and there will be many more changes to come.
they will soften more than they are now but the won't get very soft and jiggly as unders just don't. i hated that about my unders and mine had been stretched twice so you would have thought the muscles would have relaxed enough for them to jiggle but they didn't.
you should be able to get a cracking cleavage though pretty soon, i still got a great cleavage even with my first b/a and i was only a b cup then.
my ps told me never to massage, isn't it strange how they all seem to tell us different things with this.
