Questions
Morning ladies hope you are all well
As you know I am 2 days post revision op for cc and another nipple lift .... When I had my original surgery once the stitches came out I used panty liners to protect my incisions until they were fully healed that was fine then because it was winter and no one could see the pads this time though I thinking am going to be conscious of wearing panty liners has anyone tried the breast feeding pads ? If so do they cover nipple incisions and lower incisions ? Also will I drop and fluff again and be still be the same size I was before the revision .
Sorry for rambling on just too much time on my hands thinking of things any advise would be greatly appreciated .

Re: Questions
Hi hun x I didn't have a lift so can't really help with the nipple incisions, but I found panty liners uncomfortable so I used cotton pads, the ones use use for taking make up off. And they do round ones, so I would imagine quite good for the nipple area.
I can't help with the dropping and fluffing I'm afraid hun, hopefully one of the other girls will be able to help you xx

By lower incisions do you mean you had a lollipop lift lift babe? Meaning you had an incision around the areolas and then a vertical from areola to breast crease?
If you do then yes. They will to cover the area for you lovely
If you have incisions in the breast crease though they won't help to cover those. Only a panty liner or sanitary pad would help with that hun.

If you've had no change in size you will remain the same size as before and the drop and fluff process will be the same but you may find you heal much quicker...although in saying that with you having to have a capsulectomy too it could take as long as your first op for your boobs to recover. It will just depend on how well you heal babe.

Don't apologise hun. This is the reason we're here... To be there for one another

Re: Questions
I would think as you had cc you will probably see a better result from dropping and fluffing. Can't help with the incisions question but you can layer clothing like little short sleeve cardigans over a vest top to hide any pads you've used to cushion the incisions. Denim waist coat type jackets are also a good one, or something frilly in the bust area.
Re: Questions
Yeh i have tried the panty liner trick to try and stop my sports bra rubbing on them! Well i hope when the swelling goes down they will both look the same
Shape but i dont want them to go any smaller is that normally the case when they fluff and drop? Xx

Re: Questions
it's very normal at this early stage for one to be a bit more swollen than the other. Think of it like 2 seperate operations done at the same time. Itching is normal and is a good sign the scars are knitting together.Nwood wrote:Hi i had my op on sunday and my incisions are so sore and itchy , i keep worrying too because when i take my sports bra off one looks a lot bigger than the other :/ can anyone help ?! If the more swollen breast becomes a lot bigger or feels very hot and you feel cold or flu like symptoms then you will need to be checked over by your surgeon. At the moment you sound like you're doing just fine though hun, nothing to worry about, however you paid for aftercare so if you would feel better being reassured by your clinic, then just give them a call and they can make you an appointment to check you over
Re: Questions
Yeh i suppose so ill give them a ring if it seems to get Any worse maybe i should just wait a few days as its bound to be swolen and see if they go down. Thanks for the advise :)
