back to square one :(
Im really disliking my boobs at the moment... they're really asymmetric again
Ever since my op, my left implant has been very strange! i can feel that it comes to a 'point' in my cleavage and actually hurts to touch sometimes. By my scar underneath i can grab hold of the implant and it can come forward?? Its rather hard under my natural breast tissue too... my right implant i can also feel as i hardly had any tissue in the first place but its still squishy and rounded off in the cleavage so im not too worried about that. My surgeon noticed it waaaaay back but said it would get better and its only gotten worse - has the implant rotated?
Also they're still sooooo uneven!! being at 2 and a half INCHES difference ?? and my nipples are completely off !! also like 2 INCHES !! not cm girls!! this seems like a big difference to me and is very noticeable. Should i be allowed to get this corrected?? for the first time i had to pad up my right side just like i did preop.
Im now breastfeeding. Only ONE breast is producing milk. Righty was shocking and has stopped. Lefty isnt even supplying enough either so im bummed but just because one has had milk and has stretched my boob, its made my asymmetry even worse
So my problem is this.. Because ive had a baby, would this stop my surgeon giving me a reop? OR seeing as i already had problems before i got pregnant would i be allowed to get a reop?
I'll take some pictures soon to show you how horrible they are if those who arent newbies wont to see what im complaining about.
i feel so ugly right now and the i never wanted to feel the way i did before my op and now i do!!

Oh no, sending you hugs xx
I can't offer any advice because I'm not experienced enough, but once you have stopped breastfeeding I would certainly go and see your PS again.

Hi TSmith. Im so sorry you're feeling this way. Im a little concerned though - it says in your blurb that you dont know what size was put in your left breast? Was this not written in your notes? Or is it just old info. Are you certain that they adressed the asymmetry properly?
I would definately go in and see your PS, especially if its affecting your breastfeeding. Big hugs from us all

Awww that's bobbins sweetie. I agree with the girls - go see your surgeon and explain exactly what you've said to us. Clearly something wasn't right before you started breastfeeding. At least once you've seen him, you'll have answers.

Re: back to square one :(
thanks ladies will have to call her then.. do you reckon its a good idea to call after ive finished breast feeding or asap??
Also charlii i wasnt told what i got in my left... i asked her but she went off topic and forgot to tell me. But i think i recall something in the 200cc range was said. Not sure if that means she made a mistake ?! hope not. And yes that was the main reason of getting the op because of my asymmetry - i got it done for free.
have yet to put up pics.. havent had time, been busy with my daughter :D

Focus on you and your baby for now Tsmith
You're boobs are going through so many changes right now and your hormones are all over the place sweetheart.
Thinking of re-ops can wait. What's important right now is you and your baby hun, your surgeon won't do anything or consider anything at all whilst you're still breast feeding.
Do you have any cover over there after a BA that would guarantee you revision if you have complications?
If you do and if there is any problems, which you're not going to know for sure babe until your boobs and hormones have settled down after feeding, then if you covered I don't doubt revision would be granted babe. It doesn't matter if you've had a baby.... Unless.. The asymmetry was caused by your pregnancy. You say milk is only coming in to one breast, so this is the larger I'd presume? If the stretching of the skin caused by breast feeding leaves this breast larger than the other then this 'in the UK' would not warrant revision because the asymmetry was not caused by any of the surgery given, but by the effects of breast feeding. I'm unsure of what the terms of any cover you may have would be for you over there though hun, so it may be worth checking any paperwork you were given. Also check the time frame of your cover, of its close to running out, then do go see your surgeon ASAP to get any concerns you have logged, if you have a long time to go on it, there's no rush at all. So relax, enjoy your time with your beautiful baby and see how things go then go and see your surgeon
Being able to feel the implant underneath at the bottom of the breast is very normal. Although you're told you have 'unders' the implant is placed 'partially' under the muscle babe. So the bottom of the muscle is dissected so only the top of the implant is held by the muscle, the bottom of the implant is free. So I wouldn't worry about that hun. I poke mine in and out and use it as a stress reliever lol. Xx

Re: back to square one :(
Natty yes we did talk about what would happen if i had kids and she said that some things could/would change with my breasts but it wont affect my milk. There wasnt much on the topic really as i wasnt planning on having kids this soon lol
Thanks for your advice cookie - always reassuring ! im not sure on the cover of my implants. I wasnt given anything that told me what i got etc ?? was i meant to ?
it just doesnt feel normal to me. It doesnt feel teardrop shaped or round... its like a rugby ball shape if that makes sense? lol
Going to take pictures now.

Re: back to square one :(
omg cant stop crying! just put pictures up and i cant believe how disgusting my boobs are. Only people who are willing to help can ask to see them please - would like to know what others think.
I never realised how bad they are but in pictures they seem so much worse and thats what others see so they are that bad!

Re: back to square one :(
Aw Hun I really feel for you. Try not to dwell on them too much at the moment (I know it's easier said than done) once you've stopped breast feeding you can go & see your surgeon & hopefully get it sorted.
& in the meantime, I'm sure no one is going to see what they look like when you have clothes on. So don't worry about that. Try to focus on your baby & all the good things in your life, because you don't want to get yourself too down & end up in a worse state.
Sending you lots of hugs xxx

Re: back to square one :(
Over here in the UK we buy with when we pay for out BA something called called 'aftercare' you've probably read the word time and time again here. Now what this does is cover the all surgical costs should we have any complications that are beyond the surgeons control. I'm totally at a loss to how things work for you guys across the pond hun, so maybe you could look for the papers you signed when you agreed to the BA and see if there's anything on there.
What you last described Tsmith,, about the rugby shape you can feel.... I'm wondering if its possible your implant has flipped?
This is obviously causing you great distress babe and I doubt you'll be able to relax and enjoy your little at all until you've had some kind of clarity hun. So make the appointment to go back and see your surgeon hun.
If it is IS a complication and not aesthetic reactions to pregnancy/breast feeding your surgeon should help to rectify the problem free of charge. Xx

Re: back to square one :(
Please can i have a look at the pics....breastfeeding will change your boobs in so many ways so it could/should be completely different when you finally stop. Agree with what others are saying, your baby and your recovery from labour should be the most important thing right now and the boobs can be sorted after. Hormones will also be all over the place postnatally so its no wonder your not feeling your best right now.
