I'm sure you don't need to sleep with the v pillow, just however your most comfy and gets you through the night :) xx

Oh you don't need to be using a V pillow hun x we just use them for comfort, and to help stop us rolling onto our sides. I couldn't be without my V pillow now lol!

I actually didnt use mine at all for sleeping other than the actual night in the hospital. Just couldnt get comfy with it. I know a lot of the girls still use it after theyre allowed to side sleep again, coz you can hug it and prop your boob up on it, but I just never got on with it other than on the couch.

Emily im we must be proper boob buddies as i was thinking the exact same thing last night! lol
Im pretty sure somewhere in our post op paper work it says something about being propped up for 14 - 18 days...
I just want to sleep flat! I was always a belly sleeper obviously that wont be happening any time soon

Re: Without a V pillow?
A v-pillow isn't necessary at all if you don't want to use it... However, you may find it useful when you go through the transition from back sleeping to side sleeping. I've tried with a pillow and you just can't get that pressure off the bottom boob with pillows like you can from strategically positioning the v-pillow, so don't chuck the v-pillow. You may not want it now. But you may want it later....

I still use mine too, especially for side sleeping to hug. X

Re: Without a V pillow?
5 weeks post op and i still sleep with mine!
side sleeping still isnt comfy for me so it helps me accidentally rolling onto my side.
as for the heat, i actually find it coolest sleeping on my back, with my v pillow, in a starfish position haha!
