Which size? Can't decide.................
Hi there girls, Having a problem deciding on size, I'm 5 foot 7, 9 stone 10 currently a 34b just. I'm hoping to be a dd my surgeon has given me a chart of sizes minimum for my frame and maximum. He says I can go from 345cc to maximum 470cc. I have tried the rice boobs in 400 and they looked fine...... Then thought maybe a bit more so tried 420 and they look good too.... I ask my hubby and he says they look fine. I'm just thinking is it going to be too big or too small............ Jeeze!!!!!! It's driving me nuts.....
Just wondered if anyone with similar stats.
I have been to see my surgeon and he says the sizes he gave me all would be fine, but I got to make the decision.......... I'm having the round allergan overs. Any help much appreciated.
Think I'm driving everyone nuts............ Thankyou in advance xx:seeing stars:

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
hi hun,
the sizing thing is always a headspin, but what is generally better is to focus on the look you want to achieve as opposed to a size, because for one its not an exact science with regards to sizing, and also size and perception thereof is so so different for everyone!
i used to think a C cup would give me decent size boobs, but that thinking came from never having boobs before lol (AA never grew much).
making the rice boobs is a good idea, and what i also did was take my rice boobs to m&s and i tried on some bras in the size i wanted to be (e.g. 34C) and pop the rice sizers in, this may help you decide as well because remember that size is perceived so differently by everyone!
you could also have a look at the post op stats thread on here and see how people increase in size with certain amounts of cc's.
i'm actually really similar to you in height and weight, but it went from a 34AA to a what i think is going to be a34C, at least thats what i am in my sportsbras. i only had 265 round allergan natrelle unders.
a really rough rule of thumb is also that you will go up one cup size for every 100 cc's used, so to be honest with the smallest implant of 345 you would probably already reach your DD.
but thats why i'm saying maybe go and see your surgeon again but take along some photos of the look that you are trying to achieve. you may be surprised if your surgeon says they're not a DD cup, rather an E or F or G, or what he will suggest for you based on the look you're after.
sorry for the long ramble, hope this helps you a teeny bit :) x

Size gets us all its such a worry!!
All sizes differ so what you need to do is totally forget size... A D cup bra in one shop is an E in another, bra size doesn't matter.... Go with the LOOK that you like, choose the one you like best that you feel compliments your body the most, you won't have a fake result.
I'm 5'9 around ten stone and I'm having 460 overs xx

Thankyou blueeyedsole. It is a head whizzer, not just for me, my poor friends and family are probably as dizzy as me... Hahaha.... I did get a dd bra and put me rice in and it looks fine.....
I will have a look at post op thread too. Thankyou for the info it has helped. I want them too look natural and I think I'm worrying they are going to be too big.... I don't want to look like a porn star.... Haha...... Well .......... Maybe would've a few years ago but as I'm older I don't want to look silly.....
Thankyou Jennifer, you are so right about sizes, every time I get measured I'm something different..... Can you imagine.... I got a few weeks yet to decide and I'm going to be pulling out my hair............

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
Your surgeon has given you a HUGE margin there of 125CCs so its little wonder your head is in such a spin hun!
To be honest, in giving such a big margin your surgeon hasn't really helped alot in implant choice really and with so much time before your surgery date I agree with Blue and I'd personally book another consultation lovely, armed with pics of the 'look' you want and get 'your surgeon' to narrow that down for you.
Its such an important decision to make and I'm sure your surgeon could offer a little more help babe in terms of size and having another consultation is what's what's going to help you.
Checking other women's stats is only ever going to help you know what 'they achieved' its not going to help you know what 'you'll achieve' and until your surgeon offers a little more help I think you're just going to be stuck in that spin lovely. Xx

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
I agree with the others hun, you should really try and make another appointment. There is a huge range of sizes you have been given, and I feel the size is something that your surgeon should be advising on. If you take some pictures with you to show the 'look' you are after, rather than worrying about cup size, your surgeon may be more able to pinpoint an implant size to help you achieve that 'look'.
Good luck, do keep us updated xx

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
I used to wear a DD cup but have no idea if that was the right size for me as i have never been measured. I looked fine in a bra but the top was empty without one so i just wanted the skin filled. I had 400ml overs which the surgeon said i would need to fill them as i had enough skin to easily cover. I was measured last weekend as an F so 400mls has only taken me up a few cup sizes (E, EE, F) The swelling has all gone and i am still the same size, just hoping they don't get bigger when they fluff LOL. I think from what i have read that even if you are exactly the same height/weight and have the same mls put in the result vary for everyone. Good luck with whatever decision you make

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
sizing is such a dilema!
I was only given 2 sizes to choose from and still found it tough. What helped me decide was going back for anothee consult and taking photos of me in the different sizes. Stats wise I am similar 5ft 8" size 10 , 9.5stone bra 34a I am still pre op but decided on 405cc hoping to achieve d

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
Hi hun, I'm similar stats to you....5'7, 9st 6 and was a 32b pre op. I had 390cc high profile overs which have taken me to a 32e/30f (I don't think they look as big as that so I was very surprised when I was measured!). Like Cookie said, you have been given a huge margin there! I was only offered a range from 360 to 400cc. Has your surgeon discussed profiles with you? xxx

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
Thankyou to all who have advised me, I've took all on board got another consultation and I'm purely going through sizing...... Hopefully I will come out and know more. I realise you can't go by other girls as we are all different..... I went through sizing briefly on first consultation, profiles etc...... I think I mainly went through complications and other stuff. I was just firing questions at him...
I'm going back and putting my mind at rest, I did take lots of pics what I did and didn't want......
Thankyou all you have really helped will keep you updated.... Xx

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
I'm glad you have another consultation hun. 125CCs is a MASSIVE margin and with your surgeon being the expert babe they should have enough knowledge to narrow that spectrum down for you to make any decisions 'if necessary' out of two sizes at most making things so much easier for you. So a more indepth chat about this should be of greater help to you lovely. Xx
Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
Thankyou cookie, I know you are so right, as you can imagine my rice boobs...... They have been different sizes.... Going up, going down, put some in, take some out..... Jeeze!! Will update after consultation.....

Good luck with your next consultation, normally surgeons give you 2 or 3 choices of size. I was given 3 choices and that had me in a tiz, so I know your going to be confused

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
I was given quite a wide margin too in most of my consultations between 410 and 460.. When I went back I decided with my surgeons help to have the 460s( mine might not be straight forward though lol) so I'm sure your come away feeling much better xx

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
i had a rough idea of what i wanted after i was told different sizes too, so when i mentioned to my surgeon which size i was thinking i might choose, i said to him pointedly, what do you think? he knew the look i was after and then we discussed this size i was thinking about and came to a joint agreement.
don't be afraid to directly ask for his recommendation based on what you are trying to achieve.
good luck hun x

Re: Which size? Can't decide.................
Wow, I am glad it's not just me with sizing issues. I have spoken to four different surgeons, finally narrowed it down to two. One of them said they would not want to go over a 340cc implant as anything larger would not look natural but the other one was happier to go bigger. I ended up with a spread of sizes from 310cc to around 410cc!!
I think based on all your experiences I will also have to book another consultation purely for sizing reasons! Think I might take hubby this time as well for a second opinion! I am sure he's getting bored of all of this 'boob' stuff! It's all I've been talking about recently. Just want to get it right and no be disappointed. I've heard of so many women have them done then wish they were bigger. Such a huge amount of stress making the right decision.x

I know, it's really hard! As long as your bwd is wide enough to fit those sizes in (which it must be because otherwise the surgeon wouldn't have said its an option for you) but try not to worry about the cc ... Choose the look you prefer ... Going back will definitely help you out :) xx

You will have read 'early post-op' women talking about wanting bigger boobs babe. The majority of women after all healing and settling has been done as stated in a recent report by a massive 98.1% of women are either satisfied with their result or feel their result exceeded expectations. This is fact lovely.
So forget what you read on forums and focus on only YOU. See at least one BAAPS member, take your time and research! Research! Research! Babe. Xx
