Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
Hi,
I had 410s with Dr Khan. I was a 32B and am now measuring a 34F in La Senza and a 34E in M&S. They only look about a D/DD when clothed though.
Did you tell him you wanted a D cup or show him pics of the size you like?
Remember that fake boobs look smaller than real ones.
It does sound like a big implant to take you up 2 cup sizes but I would trust him as he is the expert! I am really happy with his work!

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
I wouldnt go with a size that could cause rippling.. and 410 overs will take you more like an F so if you want a D i would go quite a bit smaller x

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
Hi - have not met before ... as I have been a bit out of touch ...but forgive me but that does sound quite big as you are a B already. My friend here had AA like me and she had Kahn 5 years ago but does not know what size she had as then they did not do cc but it was A B C or D and she is now a D and she has rippling but she is very skinny with no breast tissue before. You can not see the rippliing when you look at her but she put my hand on her boob and you could feel it - she says it is better if she puts on some weight and she is still very happy with them. I think surgeons are used to people having a bit smaller and then say afterwards that they wished they had gone a bit bigger ... you should explain exactly how big you want to be buy buying the bra you want to fill and showing him that and he is surely a good judge then but I was an AA flat and only had 265 unders and I am a C - there is a stats thread here which is really useful to look at as it gives you a good overall of people before and after ... good luck .. this is the hardest part - which size to go for .... good luck .

I think you will be bigger than D with 410 too. Rippling is not something you want to have. I would have another chat and explain the look you want and what he feels would be best to achieve this ....with the lack of complications. Good Luck.xx

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
I think you should meet with Mr Khan again and ask him if he thinks you will have rippling or if he was just warning you of the risks?
When I had my consultation with him he mentioned rippling and stretchmarks. I was really worried but he said they are possible side effects and that they are things you need to be aware of.
Like previously stated, Nat and I both had 410s from a B cup. We have had no problems with rippling but if you are concerned about the size, you should meet with him again.
I found the best thing to do is to bring pictures of the size you like, then you both know what results you want to reach.
I was recommended 345s for a D cup. Maybe this is the sort of size you should go for if you want to measure a D.

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
Hi Hun I had Mr Khan in January. He advised that i go for the bigger implant of 300 to take me to a small D..........but i thought this was a little big so i decided to go for the 260. 5 Months on i am a 30DD /32DD with the 260 implant and when i went to see him for my 3 month check up he thought i looked about a 32DD also.
He is a fantastic surgeon and i had a really good recovery but i think that he is a fan of big implants.
What i did was bought a sports bra in the size i wanted to be and went back to see my co-ordinator to try the impants in the bra. x

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
hi hun i just want to say i have had 3 b/a i started out before any an a cup, not alot of tissue.
i now have 700 overs and don't have any rippling, touch wood i won't get any either.
i think with 410 implants and starting at a b you will definately be fine but if you want a d cup you might want a bit smaller.
you will always look smaller than you actually measure anyway. it's just the way it works with implants.
good luck.

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
I agree with the great advice the girls have given you. If you want to measure a D then you'll probably only need implants int he region of 250-270cc.
If you want to LOOK a D then you'll need bigger implants.
I would agree with Marie, have another consult with him and ask him about the risks involved, and any that he feels you WILL get (eg rippling with that size)

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
I had 410cc as well, I went from a 32A (I thought I was a 34B but I was lying to myself) to a 32F this sounds huge but I really don't look that big. Under normal clothes I look a D/DD. I was told I may get a bit of a fake look in a bra if I wanted otherwise they would look as natural as possible. I do like the fake look as long as it's not too extreme ie looks like footballs stuck on. And I've only seen pics like that in America. I was told I shouldn't ripple. I think it's just one of those things that is possible.
Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
I agree size is def the hardest and most confusing part hun, make sure you are 100% comfortable with the size though hun, have you made any rice boobies? Might help making some and trying them in a bra under different tops, help get an idea of what you like hun. Def make another app to see your surgeon if you are unsure hun, I went back a further 2 times to see him and he was completely understanding and supportive and liked the fact that I wanted to be 110% sure on size. Good luck hunni xxxxx

Re: trying to decide on size - please help!!
Your in a similar predicament to me as my ops in 3 weeks and i still havnt decided either 375s or 425. Im a 34AA and want to Look a D I agree with Roxy measuring a D and looking a D are two totally different things. I find wearing the rice boobs in the same size help give you a good idea of what they will look like- just make sure you get someone to take a pic of you wearing them as this can look totally different to how they feel aswell. The 425s felt huge on me but when i took a pic they looked great and the 375s looked small.
