How did you decide on size?

Did your ps let you choose your size of implant or did you just say 'I want to be a DD cup please' or 'I want a natural/fake look please!' and you let your surgeon choose?

My ps gave me a choice between 2 sizes and i chose the smaller after much deliberation!!!

I took in pictures of the girl from the Next catalogue! And I ranted on for ages about how I wanted to look natural and athletic and didn't want to look obvious etc...and then I let my surgeon choose. I was worried he had chosen too small for a while, and tried to talk him into giving me the 295ccs at my second consultation...but he stuck to his guns and I'm so glad he did as I definitely wouldn't have wanted them a cc bigger!

I told him the 'look' I wanted [round, fake, but natural] and the rough size I wanted to look [D/DD], he gave me two implants to try and told me to choose the one I liked the look of best, it just so happened I chose the bigger of the two.

I was told 240cc was the biggest I could go, but after pressure from people on another forum to go BIG BIG BIG, I asked my surgeon if I could go any bigger, and he said he's try the 265cc. The 265s did fit, so that's what I have. I think I would have been happy with 240cc, too.

I said I wanted a fairly natural/not too obvious look but I liked the idea of getting a cleavage/a bit of upper roundness too, as long as they didn't look stuck on. And most importantly in proportion with my body (I have a small frame in spite of being reasonably tall). I am the same as maria, I was given a choice between 240 and 265, my surgeon said that he didn't think I should go any bigger, not because they wouldn't fit but based on our conversation about my expectations. I agonised for ages even though the difference is minimal, I chose the bigger ones in the end and I am happy with them, I def wouldn't want them any smaller, I think this size is great for me.

i just told me plastic surgeon i wanted to look a d/dd he advised me on 410 /460 or 525 i didnt wanna go to big so i choose 410 the smallest i told him i wanted a fake and natural look i have both i know he wanted me to go much bigger cause on the day he kept saying go for at least 460 but i stuck to my guns and went with 410 as i was scared of loooking to big i think i made the right choice as they look big but not to big i measure f/ff so i think any bigger and i wouldnt be able to get nice bras as i struggle now i think if he had his way he would of gone for 525

I was given the choice of 340cc or 380cc and spent weeks and weeks doing the rice test and talking to lots of people and just could not make my mind up! (making decisions was never my strong point!) so on the day of my op I was still undecided and when my surgeon came to see me before i went down to theatre I asked him what his honest opinion was and he said 'I would suggest 380cc as you have a nice round bum!!!!' :oops: I think that was a polite way of saying 'You have a big bum so go for the bigger implants so you look in proportion' Hysterical

So yeah I let my surgeon decided for me and Im so glad I did, I wouldn't have wanted my boobs any smaller!
