Here is my Buddha belly, all thanks to codeine. So bloated and blocked up, reaching for the sennacot! Just have to time it right because it REALLY works :-)

Awww the Buddah belly can be really disturbing for some people, but glad you can find something that works for you lovely. It does settle down, but can often for some women take a few weeks. Xx

Sennakot is a mild laxative babe. It would be advisable to get some in yes yes

The GA and the strong pain killers can bung you up so taking these just makes things a little easier for you xx

I'm 3 days post op and haven't had buddha belly so it doesn't affect everyone. I drank a lot of fluids after my BA so I think that might have helped. I actually think my tum looks flatter now than it did pre-BA. Try not to worry girls, it's by no means a permanent thing xx

Glad to put your mind at ease Jen. I've been waiting for it but nothing so far and doubt I'll get it now! Drink plenty of water after surgery and you might be ok. xx

Mine was awful after both surgeries but I am prone to bloating and swelling and I didnt open my bowels for 10 days after my re-op! I was in agony and then after 8 days of senna followed by2 days of lactulose I ended up with the opposite problem!!!

I drank loads...but I also had such a munch on waking after the GA that I demanded a cheeseburger! they would only give me toast :( Day 4 I got on the lactulose, but it was still a while after that that it went down completely. Looked a good 4mths gone!
