Sweetheart.. Without doubt I KNOW that no-one is going to laugh at you. Their aim is to help you and to get you into a bra that's going to offer you and your boobs the support needed. Ensuring you're in the correct sized bra and that you're happy when you leave the door!
Give Bravissimo a go babe... If only to get you in the right support. xx

Re: How big was your size difference while swollen?
When I first had my BA my boobs were rock hard and pointy, the swelling went around 4 weeks post op and I went from wearing a 36DD/D into a 34DD/D/E (depending on the bra) I went for a fitting in bravissimo and was shocked to be fitted into a 32F. I later fluffed up a cup size to a 32FF around 7-9 months post op. I found once the swelling had gone they didn't seem to change very much but around the 6 week mark they started to look more rounded and less like madonna cone boobs. They seemed to get a bit uneven and different sizes one was higher than the other and it took quite a few months for them to soften nicely and move. I had wonky boobs past the 6 month stage and they evened out nicely. They just seemed to fill out nicely a little bit every month, when I look at pictures I took each month it just looks like they're growing lol.
I'd also like to add M&S are without doubt the worst fitters there are, if you read reviews online about them you'll see why. I know my mother came back from them with a band so tight it cut her and the look of 4 boobs from the cup.

mine were all over the place when swollen. I swelled loads as well !! one hour lefty would be bigger, then righty... then both... then lefty etc. etc. Even now some days I take my bra off and righty has gotten huge (it's the smaller boob) but when they're behaving themselves the difference is minimal xx

I don't want to get measured as I know they'll say I'm a C :-(( no one has even noticed i've had them done! I liked them when they were swollen.
hun. when i was first post op the only bra i could find to fit was a 36c!! then i went to a 36D and later after all my swelling had gone i bought a bra that was a 34D ... turns out i was way off the mark and should have been in a 30 band! got measured as a 30G in bravissimo! xx

Salmac i feel exactly the same as you hun, i'm 5 weeks post op and feel like they're not really going to change from now.
After my op i couldn't get into my sports bras that i bought (38DD) and had to go out and buy 40DD instead. 2 weeks down the line the swelling had completely gone and i'm now back into my 38DD (but i certainly don't look this, id say i look a 36C at best). I honestly cannot see them getting any bigger now (from week 2 to week 5 there has been no more difference), as for the bra sizing that's not what's important to me. I could go to Bravissimo and be told i'm a 36JJJ and i still wouldn't be happy because to me they look small and no matter what bra size i come out at, it won't mean that they are any bigger. x
