How big was your size difference while swollen?

Hey ladies,

I know I'm early days and get boob will heal at different paces but I was wondering during the healing process how big a difference where you in size while swollen? And did it even out ok?

Had a bath this morning so took some photos and was quite shocked by the size.
Lefty is much bigger then righty! Righty is giving me more pain, I'm getting a tight stabbing sensation, almost like something needs to ping inside the muscle. Lefty is more more farty boob!

Naturally I'm slightly bigger on the left and I'm aware that I will always have this slight difference.

I have have bigger and a smaller one aswell. But I can't give advice because mines are both swollen torpeedos right now! Gonna start shouting them at OH when I go home... yahoo

am I still high?! Think so :doh:

lol I felt like that the first couple of days high as a kite with torpedo boobs. Mine now have torrets, haha. xx

Righty may well have suffered a little more trauma during surgery than leftie babe. Remember, you had two separate ops, one of the left breast and one on the right, so the healing differences are VERY normal babe.

The stabbing sensation is due the nerves healing babe. Ice packs placed over the tops of your boobs really help to ease that.

Your boobs are not going to get smaller hun. After surgery with swelling I was in a DD. after being fitted at 12 weeks post-op, I was F.

I know of only two women who did not increase in size in all the time I've been here Ray. None went smaller. Xx

Thanks Cookie, so I should expect that righty should roughly catch up in size with lefty at some point. I was just worried as they look like 2 different implant sizes at the moment! Suppose its just wait and see game. xx

Ohhh so these bad boys will get better? Even more of a reason to get high :-) Cookie this has made me feel lots better :-) RayRay I keep thinking my Boob's are Farting but it's the chair I'm sitting on LOL! Just waiting on being collected from the hospital. Xx

Yes... Its very common for one breast to be more swollen than the other and eventually they do catch up. I had wonky boobs that were different sizes for ages, but at 10 weeks post-op they finally started heading the right direction. By 12 weeks I had perfect symmetry. I'm not saying yours will take that long, but that's how long it took for 'mine' to sort themselves out.

You said you had a little asymmetry pre-op though... You should be aware that a BA can often magnify that difference but as you already said you're happy with that anyway :ok:

Yup! They just get better and better over time. I'm talking months though, so patience is the key to healing. Glad you feel happier now Ruth. :flowers: xx

I had a massive size difference in early weeks after surgery and was quite worried but after everything settled down they're pretty much the same now, other than a tiny difference I had pre op xx

A bath?? I hope you didn't submerge those bad boys? Mine only got bigger hun. The shape changed, but they defiantly did not get smaller! Xx

Lefty was a little bigger pre op, but not noticeable! I think it still is, but again you can't tell to look at them x

Alipops don't worry, I've only had a couple of audible boob farts, lol. I find It's more like a feeling of grumbling, like how your tummy sometimes does. xx

I was in a DD Post op now at 8 wks I'm a small D / C guess I was one of the unlucky ones that got smaller! growl

I just can't see them getting any bigger now. Since swellings went at 4wks I've stayed the same. I don't believe in fluffing!! Totally gutted I didn't go for a bigger implant. They look like I have my padded a cup bras on. Thinking about a re op in 2 yrs.

You're the first I've heard of in all of my time here to have been fitted in a smaller bra than you were in during your recovery Salmac. Have you had a professional fitting? Xx

Honestly I wish I was making it up but it's true! I was in a M&S 34D sports then DD both of which now are too big! Ive tried on bras in M&S and 34C / 32D fit
I don't want to get measured as I know they'll say I'm a C :-(( no one has even noticed i've had them done! I liked them when they were swollen.

I'd honestly suggest you have a fitting in Bravissimo lovely. Don't be out off by the thought of what size you might be because ultimately to help maintain your boobs you really need to be in the correct size to support your new boobs.

Also hun... I didnt fluff until I was 12 weeks post-op. changes started at 10 weeks and by 12 I had increased by 2 cup sizes. I'm not at all suggesting this will happen for you, but it is still very possible due to how early in your recovery you still are. Women have fluffed as far as 7 months post-op here, so don't be too downhearted. Do get a professional fitting though babe. M&S aren't great for fitting and you won't get better than Bravissimo. Xx

I really hope you are right cookie. I know you have a welth of boobie knowlege so fingers crossed. I'm a bit embarrassed to go to bravissimo what if they laugh at me as I look very small!!
