Re: The road to revision....!
cookie ive just found a photo from 2 hours post op, and you can see my implants were placed at wildly different positions from the beginning. Do you think its worth questioning this? x

Re: The road to revision....!
in fact, looking right back through my hospital pictures, these implants were categorically placed in different positions - its like he just left them there and hoped for the best!!!!
do you mind if i include pics here if i cover up the nips? x

I think its worth sending him these pics and questioning it but tbh Hun I've seen loads of immediate post op pics and some do look all over the place straight away xx

Re: The road to revision....!
I agree with Nicole babe. Its extremely difficult to tell from early post-op pics because breasts can sometimes look awful right after surgery, then progress beautifully as the healing continues. Xx
Re: The road to revision....!
I have read somewhere that when you leave the table what the surgeon sees is going to be the result. Its not until its finished that they swell etc, but i could be wrong, maybe cookie can put me right. But obviously that's only the case if there isn't any bottoming out or CC. Things that can't be foreseen! But I would definatly take the pics to show him x

Re: The road to revision....!
Thats true Lisa... I've even known of surgeons sitting their patients up to enable them to see what the result looks like before finishing up.
Sounds really odd to think you're sat up but it does make a lot of sense doesn't it. Xx

Re: The road to revision....!
I wouldn't risk my aftercare either hun. I think you made a wise decision there.
If it were me and going larger was nagging at me, I'd personally go for it babe. You have this, although unwanted, its an opportunity to go for the bigger size now whilst you're having a re-op.
If you don't do it now I think you'll wake up with that "what if"? Always nagging you at the back of your mind.
Discuss it with James though. He's a highly skilled surgeon and knows his stuff lovely. If he feels it can be done, then if its what you want at least some good can come from the emotional pain you've suffered these last few months. Xx

Re: The road to revision....!
quick update - James has refused to perform a pocket revision as it just won't work. In the meantime I have a bit of improvement so I'm giving the more time.
I beg that anyone SERIOUSLY considers booking through mybreast, they are adamant I go through an operation my surgeon refuses to perform, or they are happy to fund a op that will work if I give up my 5 years aftercare.
I've since found out I cannot sue mybreast, only James which I have no interest in pursuing, so I will make damp sure girls get to make an informed choice before they hand their money over to mybreast
Gutted :(

Re: The road to revision....!
Hi Littlewellies. I'm new to this but had a chat with Nikkinoo yesterday about the surgeon she saw (Pacifico) and I mentioned I'm also seeing Simon Withey through Mybreast as I thought it was worth a try as I've seen 3 surgeons (all private) so far and I still feel unsure as I've been recommended very different things. She actually mentioned you and said I should look at some of your story. I've read a little and sorry to hear you're having a bit of a nightmare, but it seems that things are definitely looking up now so I really hope you get it sorted.
Would you say that I should steer clear of Mybreast after what you've gone through with the aftercare issues? Would really appreciate your advice.
Nikkinoo seems to be on the right track with her aftercare but I'm not sure if they've discussed cost yet but they have been pretty fast at coming back to her and getting her seen etc but I guess it's all dependent on the surgeon and the company.
Again, I really hope that everything is resolved for you soon. Good luck! xx

Re: The road to revision....!
From being on here almost 4 years I have to say that MyBreast and Spire have the least complications of all the clinics. It really is VERY rare that there is any problems with MyBreast. Xx
