Revision
Hi girls... Ok I'm seriously seriously considering going bigger.. Not happy with size at all and may need revision anyway.. Does anyone know how much this will cost? Bearing in mind surgeon may need to go in so theatre time etc will be covered so I will only need to pay for the implants... Has anyone done this? I doubt very much surgeon will do all free of charge so I am preparing myself for a cost... Feel really cheated to be honest and know he's going to charge me... :( xxx

Re: Revision
If you need a revision the op should be free as per your aftercare but they may charge you for bigger implants though :( xxx

Re: Revision
You havnt been cheated Hun, unfourtantely revisions may be in need of doing however most women have the same size implant put back in .
I went bigger with 3rd ba (revision for bottomed out lefty)
I has to pay for the implant and i was lucky he also changed both seen as I was was under however as it was only my lefty that needed revision it could have been that I would have to have paid extra for his time again to explant righty and fit new righty. Again Fourtunatly he did all hospital/revision free. Iain for the new implant only
You should hopefully only pay for the implant.
Unfortunately just because we don't end up the size we presume we'd be doesn't warrant a free revision with free implants Hun
Sorry if that sounds harsh but if you want bigger implants be prepared to pay for them. X

Re: Revision
That would be great lol... I was expecting it to be about 2,000... I just feel if I'm getting revision anyway I may as well go bigger too.. PS has known since after op I wasn't happy with size and leftie is such a weird shape I think I will need revision.. Hoping I don't have to pay for revision as problem is with bottoming out and not size xx

Re: Revision
If problem is bottoming out it should be covered with your aftercare hun. You may be lucky and get free implants too though but it depends on company and the surgeon xx

Re: Revision
hmm as i said i'm not sure hun, but i think the bulk of the cost when having a BA comes from having to pay the surgeon's salary, theatre usage fees and care from anesthetist and the actual GA etc...

Re: Revision
I agree with the others.. I'd say you'd definitely need to pay for bigger implants. It may only be a few hundred pounds but you will need to. You also have to bare in mind that your surgeon may want paying for the extra time required to operate on the other boob as well (the one that doesn't need a re-op..)
Still, i totally understand that you want bigger implants.. I know how unhappy you've been since your op!
Good luck and i hope it all goed to plan!!
Take care, lovely!!! Xxxx

Re: Revision
My 800cc implants cost just over £800 though it's because of the size.
Implants range from £400-over a thousand depending on the make and size.

Re: Revision
Hey sweets,
Sorry to hear you still aren't happy. What projection did you have? It might be worth discussing going XHP second time round? Big hugs xx

Re: Revision
500cc is a massive implant, you may want that size however your surgeon may not go that big already given your complications .
And you are way bigger than a dd, have you been measured at bravissimo ?

Re: Revision
Hi hun I'm afraid to be the one who gives bad news but if the complication you have is bottoming out then bigger implants may not be possible, this is because the weight of the bigger implants would be too much for the skin/muscle to hold and may cause worse bottoming out in the same breast or could cause both breasts to bottom out. Saying that I don't know whether you have overs or unders, if you have overs it may be possible to switch placement, but this is a discussion you need to have with your surgeon when he confirms you need the re op.
Re: Revision
Hi honey.. I understand.. All other surgeons I went to were offering me much bigger implant but I went with surgeon offering me smaller one.. I have quite a lot of breast tissue and maybe should have went bigger.. I have unders too.. Not sure if this makes a difference x

Re: Revision
Thanks cx I had moderate profile so don't look very projected.. Maybe that's what I need as opposed to a lot bigger.. If I went for a 460 HP that may help.. x

Re: Revision
yip I think that you just need the HP or UHP
im the same as you had MP and I feel that I need more projection however Im worried that the base of a HP implant will give me a wider gap too
so Im not sure what to do xx

Re: Revision
oh and vivek only offered me implants in the high 200s, he does go on the smaller side I think
If you were to go bigger and risk the bottoming our then Id maybe thing of going for a diff projection
what will you do if all goes well and settles and he doesnt want to go in again, are you still thinking a reop xx
