You get there check in, see your surgeon, You will be given a gown, paper knickers, hat stockings, you'll change into these and sign your paperwork, then you'll be called down. It all goes fast so you won't be waiting long.

As soon as i got to the hospital i was straight away seen by a nurse in my room she went thought questionaire and did blood pressure and pulse was given my gown and paper pants measured for stockings and told me to change into all of them straight away. nurse said we operate on patients within 2 hours of there arrival, she left soon the anaethetist came in and then after him my surgeon to draw on me and discuss final size etc - and i was walking down to theatre within an hour of first seeing the nurse - it all went VERY quick ! and no i wasnt allowed make up or anything on xx
