Re: July Buddies.
Girls you have just forced me to eat a Crunchie! Id usually blame my boyfriend for being on lates but tonight the blame is laying with you :D
How much time are you all taking off work? I have 2 weeks but have to go in for some office training for a couple of hours on a couple of days at the start of the second week. My nerves are mostly worrying about recovery :s

Re: July Buddies.
Im only taking 3 days holiday but will have 5 off in total including the weekend, I have an office job so hopefully ill be ok.
It's strange how we worry about different aspects. I've had 2 Caesareans which is classed as major stomach surgery and I was absolutely fine afterwards so I'm expecting this to be a breeze lol but I'm petrified of the GA xx

Like everyone I'm scared of the GA, but I'm really looking forward to waking up
I would much rather they did the op while I was awake x
I know 2 girls who had this operation awake, they were badly traumatised and wished they had gone for GA instead. xx

Yeah being awake would not be an option for me! I can begin to imagine what traumatised them! The noise, the smell, the being strapped downess! Xxx

Lol during my 2nd section I had a lot if scar tissue for them to get through and all I could hear was snip, snip, snip. I kept telling my hubby to talk louder.
I'm just scared of not waking up so figure if I'm awake I won't die (hypochondriac) x

So much to worry about, but there's more chance of crashing on the way to the hospital!! Way way more chance!!!

Re: July Buddies.
I know I heard that. I also read there is more chance of a perfectly healthy woman dying during a perfectly normal pregnancy so I suppose that extremely unlikely. I'm still scared though lol, we will all wake up and think what was all the fuss about ha ha

Re: July Buddies.
its natural to worry. Ive studied human physiology so I know EXACTLY how GA works, down to a cellular level. I don't know if that's a good thing or not!

I'm same, just had 1 GA for wisdom teeth and woke up crying!!! Pathetic!!! But hoping the excitement will be immense on waking this time so no tears!
We will all be fine, reassuring to know we are not alone! I think I may suffer sleep deprivation from being on here too much!! Xxx

Re: July Buddies.
I dont know about anyone else, but if this GA was for something like an illness or serious injusy I would be as scared. The fact that's its basically self inflicted is giving me the worry.

Re: July Buddies.
It is indeed funny how we are all concerned about the different aspects. (And now im scared of the journey there hahah)
I feel really sorry for myself after GA and will get myself into a state thinking no one loves me
My job is largely manual (i work in a shop) but my colleagues are being massively supportive - the main problem lays with me being able just to direct them all rather than getting stuck in.
Specialkj - I could murder an alcoholic beverage and i never drink on school nights its just knowing i cant have one... Having said that i'm watching big brother and they just had bouncing boob shots, something that i usually ignore BUT we are gonna have them soon! i cant wait to bounce!!! I dont care about alcohol anymore lol
