My stitches are bleeding today so i'm back to doing nothing, i cant wait for them to be taken out! Nipples are really irritated too - i'm gonna try some moisturiser now and as luck would have it i have two round cotton pads left, one for each, in the hope the will relieve it for the evening

Princessmummy it sounds like your very organised.  I haven't even thought about packing my bag yet,I think I have everything I need with a few bits ordered.  Just got to wait wait wait now

I am having massive wobbles on size at the moment, there is really no big difference between 360 and 410 but its getting me in a fluster!  I am going to email secretary today and discuss!!!

We have also had nightmare with our washing machine and boiler packing up, so boob fund has been broken into, so got to find a few more pennies by next week!!!  Why do things never run smoothly!

Pr1incessmummy, your boob journey has been so eventful you poor thing.  Sounds like you are really up against it all.  Have you had a scan yet?????  

Cheekychickan - loving your avatar pic! HOpe your scars are ok today.  This heat must be driving post op girls crazy, its hard enough to sleep as it is.  

So I think i am pretty ready, got ice pack, got v pillow, sports bra's.  I haven't got button up pj's, at mo so hot so thinking will just take some vest dresses that are lose, to wear overnight, and to come home.  I have just got to get my electric toothbrush now I think!!!

Sorry I haven't been on here for a little while things have been busy here as my oldest hurt his foot so my poor OH has been looking after both of us bless him!

Sounds like you're all organised tho ladies that are due soon :) don't worry the time will fly by especially while the weather is so nice, plenty to do.

Wow Max how was driving? I'm planning on giving it a go at the weekend as my OH is back at work on Monday so I'll need to drive to stay at my mums for help with my boys.

Glad that your husband has said that he will help you still pr1ncessmummy, I hope that everything works out for you both.

Specialkj - Sorry to hear that the dreaded sizing worries have got to you! Hope that your email conversation can help with decisions today! I don't have a scan date yet, I really doubt that they will get me in before surgery day now  . 

Toast - Thanks hun, me too! Good luck with driving again, I am already dreading reaching for my seatbelt lol. 

I told my second employer about my planned surgery yesterday and they were surprisingly nice about it! So that is one of the many worries off my mind for now!

There's not much left of July now so there can't be too many of us left, the August buddies post is growing fast.

I think I have everything now, arnica and ice pads came today.  8 more sleeps!!!

Driving is great! Seatbelt rubbing on boob is sore though so I've padded it for comfort.

That's so rubbish u haven't got a scan date, let's hope this is for a reason and that ur lymph nodes are ok. Just can't believe the stress u must be under. :-(

My ice packs should be here tomorrow, I may start using them pre BA just to cool down, I can't cope with this heat

Finally i have woken up this morning with comfortable stitches! I really do hope they are cooked and ready to be taken out tomorrow as i have been told 10 - 14 days and i'm dead on 10 tomorrow. Id love a shower - Wet wipes have become my best friend especially in this weather.

Pre oppers - if you dont already have a fan then get one... im a bit slow on the uptake... i've been sleeping down stairs as its more comfortable to sleep upright and its cooler, so i didnt think i needed a fan BUT i got my son to bring it down from the bedroom a couple of days ago. Its been on for the past 48 hours, i had the best night sleep, swelling has gone and as above the stitches have eased!

Haha thanks cheekychickan! I'm very happy   Pleased you're getting on well! I know what you mean about the painful stitches, gets me paranoid that something is wrong haha.. Couldn't agree more about the fan girls!! Its helped me with these hot stuffy nights and uncomfortable sleeping xx

Good tip on the fan, we have one upstairs at the moment but it's still like an oven, I am considering sleeping downstairs if this heat continues!

I am dreading the no showering! I enjoy my cold showers in these warm climates! Hopefully it might have cooled down a little in the next 10 days!

Well its like an oven upstairs in our house too - now the OH has not spoken to me for two days cos ive taken it down stairs - he needs to get over himself lol

Weve got blackout curtains which also block out heat! Best investment ever as our bedroom is now lovely and cool :-)

Ooh that's a good idea - I might look into that for my poor sons room, a teenage boys bedroom is bad enough but in this heat it's unbearable! 

How's the driving going Max? I might try a short trip on Sunday... If my little car hasn't melted by then lol

Nooo not hotter!! Lol. I cant sleep as it is at the mo! Debating whether to sleep in my bed after surgery or on the recliner downstairs, still not decided!

Just realised that my ticker is now in single figures!! Woohoo!
