Re: July Buddies.
Hello July girls!
I'm booked in for 15th July at Highgate Hospital...not long to go now. really can't believe how quickly it's come round. I have countdowns on my phone and everything!
It was originally agreed that I was having 325cc high profile, partials. I literally have nothing at the moment and would ideally like to be a D cup but after reading everyone's stories, I'm not sure I'll achieve that with these cc's. So I'm seeing the surgeon again on the 6th to see if he would recommend any bigger....I'm so confused! In that dilemma of not wanting too big but then again don't want to wake up and wish I went larger! So many sleepless nights thinking about it!!
So glad I've found this forum though, everyone seems lovely!

Re: July Buddies.
Hiya emloub! Welcome!!
Not long for you now, how exciting! Try to not read too much into how others have ended up with the same size implant as you. Each and every person is so different that the same stats and implant size can have completely different results for people. But definitely discuss it with your surgeon on 6th, maybe take some photos of what you hope to achieve as sometimes a cup size can be perceived differently than others would see it, if you get what i mean?
Have you got everything sorted? Are you staying overnight?

Re: July Buddies.
Hiya pr1ncessmummy,
Thank you for your message. I know, you're right...I'm trying not to compare myself with other people who have had similar cc's to me and I guess going up a few cc's maybe to 375 isn't going to make a whole lot of difference anyway! I should just listen to my surgeon seeing as he is the professional, so I'll just see what he has to say on the 6th.
I'm sure either way I'll be happy with the outcome going from nothing at all!! Everything else is sorted though and yes I'm staying overnight which I'm pleased about.
Not long to yours either :) I see that you've had full unders before and now you're going for partials...is that what the surgeon recommended for you or have you chosen to go for partials this time around? That's what I've chosen and just worried about the pain/returning to work side of things.
So much to think about!! xx

Re: July Buddies.
That is good, it's nice to have a stay in hospital and be looked after
I have been told on here that "unders" are usually "partial" and that "full unders" are usually only used in reconstruction. My surgeon will be using the same pocket this time but had written "partial" on my notes, so it's all a bit confusing haha.
Everyone recovers at a different rate hun, although people do believe unders take a bit longer, some people find unders a breeze to recover from. What do you work as?
I am having a lift and capsulectomy with my re-aug so I expect my recovery will be slightly longer than last time. I am quite anxious about it!

Oh you haven't got long to go either, so exciting...I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine. :) Thank you for your advice though, I really appreciate it! I didn't realise that partials were the same as unders. I'm a nurse so will just have to make sure I take it extra easy at the beginning! xx

Re: July Buddies.
Been wanting this literally for years (30+) on and off. Finally thought 'go for it' so after extensive research saw a surgeon on 20 June, decided I am extremely happy with him and booked for 19 July. Fingers crossed all will go to plan and for the first time in my life (53 years of it) I will have a proper set of boobs!!!!!

Haha that is my aim for the next 4 weeks! Who are you going through? Did you go direct to a surgeon or through a company?

Re: July Buddies.
Decided to go with Mr Kazzazi at Doncaster direct. Researched him loads and know one or two people who have had him. Really liked him when I met him and he seemed to know exactly what I needed. I borrowed one of my mums DD bras and have been walking round with bags of rice in. Love it but it will still be wierd having boobs after all this time!
The hospital is only 5 miles from my parents so i'm staying with them for the week.

Re: July Buddies.
OMG 7 sleeps to go (including the sleep ill have after this night shift)! So excited!
I used bio oil through all my pregnancies all over my body and not a stretch mark in sight :-) I also use it on some scars, its made them look so much better. Its also lovely as a night moisturiser for me, fab stuff!
Pain killers, thats not on my list! Thanks x

Re: July Buddies.
I thought the hospital discharged you armed with pain killers?
Or are you buying less strong ones?
