Long Term Effects on Everyday Life? Empty Long Term Effects on Everyday Life?

Post by Nisey 18th June 2009, 4:34 am

Hello!
Just a quick question for those of you who have had their new boobs for a while - in what ways would you say they have affected your everyday life now that the healing is over? Are you still able to sleep on your side/stomach comfortably? Do you still have pain/discomfort during specific activities? Is it true that your breathing is impaired after the operation?!
Thanks for your time :-)

Long Term Effects on Everyday Life? Empty Re: Long Term Effects on Everyday Life?

Im nearly 6 months post op now and i feel 100% back to normal like before my op except now i have boobs! My breathing was never impaired, but others might be if they have alot of swelling but that soon goes down.
I can sleep anyway i like but i have smaller implants, those with bigger ones may not find it comfortable sleeping on their front. I dont have any pain, never did after my op either, i get slight twinges sometimes but they pass really quickly

Thanks for these replies! I've been a little concerned after reading something on the internet yesterday about someone who finds hers really uncomfortable: always has to sleep on a certain side, needs her partner to favour a particular one during sex, cant even have his arm around her shoulder because of discomfort. I'm a little concerned that they'll be a bit of a burden long term as well as the post op pain etc.

:dunno: well i had my 3rd b/a 3 and half weeks ago and apart from the usual after surgery aches and pains i am back to normal.
i can sleep on my side comfortably and do most things now.
with my last 2 b/a s i never had any problems at all with my boobs.
my partner could cuddle me and as for the sex positions being limited to one........errr no lol that's all i'll say.
after the healing process and when you feel ready you can go back to doing anything you used to do, i do yoga and cardio work regular and having a b/a has never interfered with that at all, even positions lying on my front........... i have never had 700cc implants in before mind you lol but all in all you can live a normal life just like you did before.

I dont have any problems with breathing, I am sleeping on my side/front now but I feel a bit paranoid about it since I dont know if putting weight on them is a good idea. My left boob still feels soreish but I'm still healing xx

I agree with Stef, I've had no problems whatsoever with sleeping etc.
