external stitch....not dissolved Empty external stitch....not dissolved

Hi,

I have added this to another post but..

I have one stitch remaining and its so annoying.... I'm 4 weeks post op and its still there. I have had my stitch ends cut off by the nurse 1 week ago.

Should I wait or have the nurse remove it.

If its on the outside it probably wont dissolve. I had some left and snipped them off last time about 5wks down the line xox

Glad it came out hun. You'll probably find it heals very quickly there now.

I wouldn't actually recommend anyone pulling their own stitches though. Although you were lucky yours wasn't actually attached to anything for it to just away Kenzie, its always possible they could be attached to something else so a quick call to the clinic and have them deal with any spitting stitches would probably be the best option. Xx
