I think a stitch is working it's way out, it feels like a small piece of plastic sticking out? What are you supposed to do if you get this?

It doesn't hurt unless i press it, then it feels like a lump with a bit sticking out. I had been told I could start putting bio oil on my scar last week but I am now a bit worried that the incision could get infected because of the stitch.

I've got an appointment tomorrow but just wondering if many ladies get this and if they are ok?

Thanks

Suz

Everyone seems to have at least one problem stitch I can't understand why they dont all use removable stitches? I would have thought they will either snip the end off the stitch for you or remove it. I wouldn't use the bio oil yet, just in case.

don't pull at it just snip the end off when it pops out is what my PS said, keep the area clean. Mine didn't get infected but some say they can look like a pimple with a head on it.

I can only misf1's advice babe.

Don't put anything on the scar until the stitch hole heals hunni, your nurse with just snip the stitch for you tomorrow, it will usually heal up the day after. xx
